Manager, Corporate Development (M&A Integration)

The Corporate Development Integration (CDI) team at Adobe is looking for a Manager, Corporate Development to lead pre-merger operational diligence, integration strategy, and post-merger integration planning and execution. This role involves collaborating with senior executives and business unit leaders throughout the acquisition life-cycle to ensure a smooth transition of the acquired company into Adobe's ecosystem. Responsibilities include supporting the acquisition team, evaluating key issues, crafting integration strategies, driving decision-making, and developing financial measures to track integration success. The role requires strong program management, analytical skills, and excellent communication, all while maintaining alignment with deal rationale.

As a member of the CDI, you will collaborate with Adobe’s senior executives and business unit leaders throughout the phases of the acquisition life-cycle to ensure a smooth transition of the acquired company into Adobe’s ecosystem. We’re looking for an experienced individual who excels in partnering cross-functionally and influencing in a multifaceted, fast-paced environment. This individual is operationally focused and commercially experienced, with the skill to simultaneously drive integration efforts while ensuring acquisition targets meet/exceed deal value drivers.<h2></h2><h2>What you'll Do </h2><ul><li>Provide support to the corporate development acquisition team prior to close</li><li>Serve as active participant in diligence of target company to lead the evaluation of key issues, to assess integration challenges and to develop post-close plans</li><li>Partner with executives and function leaders to craft integration strategies that closely align with acquisition rationale and operating model!</li><li>Drive timely and objective decision-making with sound advice and good judgment to sustain the pace of integration and maintain alignment with the deal rationale</li><li>Document detailed integration planning with activities, timelines, resources, and costs required to achieve deal specific value drivers</li><li>Develop and measure specific financial measures and leading indicators throughout the integration/transition period to measure success of the integration</li><li>Present regular integration updates and ensure Adobe senior leadership is aware of critical issues/risks and drive them to resolution with constant and consistent objectivity</li><li>Build, empower, and encourage cross-functional teams that partner with leaders to successfully plan and complete integration roadmap</li><li>Own integration governance and manage decisions and progress reports for Integration team</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>What you need to succeed </h2><ul><li>Undergraduate / Graduate degree, preferably MBA</li><li>5+ years M&amp;A Integration experience in the industry or in consulting</li><li>Strong business acuity with experience in a SaaS environment; prior understanding of digital/consumer internet, digital marketing or digital advertising highly desired</li><li>Knowledge of end-to-end corporate development activities</li><li>Experience in pre and post-acquisition integration activities in technology companies</li><li>Exceptional program management skills with demonstrated capability in sophisticated and ambiguous environments</li><li>High level of operational focus, strong analytical skill, rigor and attention to details</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Expert in M&amp;A tools, data rooms, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint</li><li>Easily establishes rapport and effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, while driving accountability for shared results</li><li>High emotional intelligence and ability to challenge in a nuanced way, influencing areas of the business that are not under direct control will be critical</li></ul><h3></h3>Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $87,800 -- $156,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
