This full-time remote role involves editing live-action video footage, developing shot lists, creating motion graphics, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality digital video content. The ideal candidate will work closely with designers, animators, and program managers, demonstrating strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Seeking a highly collaborative individual who can work across several departmental channels while expressing the utmost creativity in quality digital video editing. Close attention to detail and ability to also work well independently will make this person successful in this role.Job Responsibilities:<ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Collaboratively work on projects with other video editors, designers, animators and program managers</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Developing shot lists and storyboards for video production and animation</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Editing live action video footage with appropriate with timing and pacing, in order to tell a compelling story - with minimal direction or guidance</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Recording voice overs for narration where necessary (not common) and color correcting videos</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Presenting edited videos for review and editing based on feedback in a timely manner</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Creating motion graphics (i.e. titles, transitions and lower thirds) for videos where applicable</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Delivering edited videos in a consistent and timely manner, ensuring quality while always meeting deadlines</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Producing or sourcing sound effects and background music where appropriate</li></ul>Qualifications and Experience:<ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">4+ years experience working professionally as a Video Editor</li><li class="leading-relaxed">An online portfolio that showcases strong video editing work</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Experience editing live-action video footage</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Ability to positively receive and incorporate feedback in a timely manner</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Proficiency in Adobe CS (i.e. Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder)</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Understanding of video encoding formats and knowledge of video editing principles</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Understanding of audio best practices in music, sound effects and narration</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Ability to work with animators on the team for more detailed/advanced motion graphics</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Excellent project management skills; ability to independently guide workload and prioritization</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Strong communication skills, resourceful, self-motivated, and adaptable</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Comfortable using Mac OSX and Google suite</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Basic animation skills with the ability to create motion graphics, and color correction skills</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Solid creative problem solving skills with ability to identify solutions that work for multiple stakeholders</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Ability to build in efficiency into video editing processes and workflows</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Proficiency in Camtasia and ability to record and edit screencasts for instructional tutorials</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Understanding of design principles, basic graphic design and ability to use design tools like Illustrator and Figma</li></ul>Compensation & Benefits:This full time role offers a salary range of $85,000 - $98,000, depending on experience level.ASG LLC offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
