Blink UX is seeking an enthusiastic, high-energy, part-time Studio Host for their Seattle office. This role is crucial for maintaining Blink's culture and brand by welcoming employees, clients, and research participants. The Studio Host will manage daily office organization, assist with administrative tasks, and ensure studio security. The position requires exceptional communication, organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and experience in high-touch customer service, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Blink UX is looking for an enthusiastic, high-energy person to join our team in a multifaceted Studio Host role. This position will be part-time (0 - 28 hours) and requires a flexible schedule and availability to work evenings and weekends onsite.Our Studio Hosts play an essential role in maintaining our culture, conveying our value, and promoting our unique Blink identity and brand. Studio Hosts are crucial to our ability to run our offices and research labs. They set the tone for every Blink studio by welcoming employees, clients, and research participants to the office. This person needs to have exceptional communication and organizational skills; a strong work ethic and an upbeat personality; as well as experience with high-touch customer service.This position is part-time and located in our Downtown Seattle studio, where you can enjoy a beautiful office space with waterfront views and a great team culture.<h3 class="text-xl md:text-2xl font-bold mt-8 mb-3 text-gray-800">What you will be doing:</h3><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Greet every visitor and ensure each person has an exceptional experience while at Blink's office. Exemplify Blink’s culture through actions, words, and presentation.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Host research studies: Greet and sign in participants for UX research studies; prepare paperwork, track the attendance of participants and manage gratuities.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Take responsibility for daily organization of the office: Keep staff areas tidy; set up conference rooms for meetings; help arrange furniture for events, lab sessions, or client visits; load and unload the dishwasher, etc.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Assist Studio Manager and office staff with additional administrative tasks as they come up day to day.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Monitor studio security: Sign in and sign out participants and clients; keep track of who is in the space; monitor guest use of restricted areas.</li></ul><h3 class="text-xl md:text-2xl font-bold mt-8 mb-3 text-gray-800">What we are looking for:</h3><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Flexible schedule and availability to work evenings.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">1 + year(s) of experience in a customer service role (administrative assistant, receptionist, server, etc)</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Additional experience in high-touch hospitality is ideal.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Must have a professional, positive, and friendly demeanor.
