Senior User Interface Engineer

Senior UI Engineer with 3+ years' experience in designing, developing, and prototyping user interfaces. Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX design tools. Strong understanding of user research, design principles, and agile methodologies.

 Job Summary: Working on client requirements and with internal product teams to help with user research, creating wireframes and designs, and ultimately aligning user behavior to actions that drive results. Working alongside other engineers, developers and supporting front-end development. Job Responsibilities: Designing: <ul><li>Conduct research and deconstruct our users’ digital interactions and habits.</li><li>Translate user behavior and research into actionable data</li><li>Come up with UI and UX strategies based on our target goals.</li><li>Create and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mockups using (design and prototyping tools: e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch etc.).</li><li>Design and create mockups and user journeys for a wide range of devices including mobile.</li><li>Experience in developing information architecture</li><li>Strategically create new features and functionality based on user stories and behavior.</li><li>Rapid design and testing methodology.</li><li>Ability to clearly communicate research and design ideas to the rest of the team and upper management.</li><li>Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code.</li><li>Understand the limitations of our tech stack and business model and provide technical advice wherever necessary.</li><li>Working on enhancing the UI/UX of the Products/Applications </li><li>Carrying design and web projects from concept to completion while adhering to the brand standards</li><li>Open to learn new tools and techniques based on the requirements</li><li>The candidate should be very proactive and possess positive attitude.</li><li>Should be highly self-motivated and strong team player</li><li>Participate in design, code, and test review cycles</li><li>Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review</li><li>Quickly learn existing environment/platform and should be able to provide support.</li></ul>
 Project management: <ul><li>Includes timeline commitment and Quality assurance.</li><li>Participate in project process/scheduling</li><li>Organize, manage, and maintain project related documents/files as directed</li><li>Complete project timesheets accurately</li><li>Handle the projects Independently </li><li>Effectively and proactively communicate with internal/external clients, team members, vendors/partners to ensure successful project execution</li></ul>
 General: <ul><li>Identify process improvement opportunities and suggest solutions</li><li>Come up with creative designs and ideas</li><li>Work towards building domain expertise</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Should be flexible to work in shifts for the support.</li></ul>
 Requirements &amp; Qualifications: <ul><li>Any bachelor's degree</li><li>3+ years’ experience as a front-end developer.</li><li>3+ years’ experience as a UI/UX designer.</li><li>A portfolio that demonstrates both JavaScript proficiency and understanding of SOLID design principles (plugins, node packages, etc.).</li><li>Expert knowledge of CSS, CSS extension languages (Less, Sass), and CSS preprocessor tools.</li><li>Expert knowledge of HTML5 and its best practices.</li><li>Proficiency in designing interfaces and building clickable prototypes using (Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, etc.).</li><li>A history of deconstructing user behavior to create an improved experience for users, showcased in the form of blog posts, articles, screencasts, etc.</li><li>Proficiency in using Git version control.</li><li>Proficiency using the command line.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of HTML, HTML5, XHTML, CSS JavaScript, JQuery. </li><li>Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Angular/React would be an added advantage.</li><li>Strong knowledge in both Design and Development.</li><li>Passion for generative AI in creative workflows. Up to date on the latest advancements in machine learning, computer vision, and generative AI.</li></ul>
