Vertex is seeking a HR Generalist to support daily HR activities in Singapore.  Responsibilities include full-spectrum HR operations across the group of companies (recruitment, compensation & benefits, welfare, performance appraisals, onboarding/offboarding), coordinating office activities, managing intern and freelancer administration, acting as employee/vendor liaison, ensuring compliance, and assisting with office management tasks. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, a degree in HR or Business, proficiency in MS Office, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills.  The role requires strong organizational abilities, initiative, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.  The position is a contract role from July 2023 to December 2023.

Job Description: We are looking for a HR Generalist to join our team and support the day-to-day activities in our Human Resources department.



Supporting the HR Manager in Singapore, you will maintain or enhance a full employee experience cycle from recruitment, satisfaction, people development to exit formalities. To be successful in this role, you should have solid organizational skills and be familiar with HR functions. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision.&nbsp;



Ultimately, you will be our Culture Wizard and ensure smooth running of our group of company’s offices, HR operations and contribute to driving sustainable growth.



Responsibilities:

<li>Assist the HR Manager with full spectrum of HR operations across the group of companies, i.e. Recruitment,&nbsp; Compensation &amp; Benefits, Welfare, Performance Appraisals, Induction &amp; exit clearance, etc</li>



<li>Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency in company activities</li>



<li>Navigate recruitment processes (posting ads, filtering, arranging interviews, hiring preparation) and liaise with recruitment agencies for effective recruitment</li>



<li>Administer interns onboarding and offboarding, including submission and tracking of grant application</li>



<li>Manage administrative for temporary contractual freelancers&nbsp;</li>



<li>Act as the point of contact between all levels of employees and office vendors</li>



<li>Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control</li>



<li>Assist in administration duties like postal, dispatch arrangements, receiving of guests etc</li>



<li>Support in office management and procurement of office supplies, stationeries &amp; preparation/checking of claims</li>



<li>Assist HR Manager on ad hoc projects &amp; organizing of welfare activities</li>

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to lead our Secure Administrator Workspace product line. The Secure Admin Workspace provides administrators with a secure way to perform their administrative tasks in critical applications. You will onboard new teams into the workspace and build and implement new controls to improve both security and the user experience for administrators. You will also collaborate with security architects and partner teams to enhance security on mission-critical products like Active Directory, Entra ID, & M365.

You will report to the Director of the Enterprise Security Engineering Core & Admin team.

Responsibilities:

*   Lead the Secure Administrator Workspace product line.
*   Implement new security controls to further protect elevated privilege accounts.
*   Onboard new teams into the secure admin workspace.
*   Improve the user experience maintaining high security standards.
*   Gather and analyse user feedback to improve the secure admin workspace experience.
*   Participate in incident response and recovery efforts related to the secure workspace.
*   Create comprehensive security documentation and reports.
*   Conduct regular threat assessments in Active directory, & Entra ID and assist implementing latest security enhancements.

*   5+ years of experience in security engineering with a focus on securing users & administrator accounts and platforms.

*   Experience with Privileged Access Workstations(PAW)/Secure Admin Workstations(SAW), and Enhanced Security Administrative Environment (ESAE) architectures.
*   Working knowledge of authentication standards such as FIDO2/WebAuthN, SAML, OIDC.
*   Experience securing Windows Active Directory & Entra ID.
*   Experience with Microsoft 365 security products and services such as Microsoft Defender for Identity, Privileged Identity Management, Entra ID governance.
*   Experience implementing passwordless authentication, smart cards, and similar technologies.
*   Knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, Python .
*   Understanding of cloud security principles in AWS or Azure.
