 We're looking for a talented and passionate Data Engineer to join Wildlife's Cloud Economics team in São Paulo, Brazil.
The mission of the Cloud Economics team at Wildlife is to have world-class productivity and efficiency across the company by finding and further investigating efficiency opportunities related to the usage and/or provisioning of technology resources.&nbsp;
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for gathering all the information needed into the data lake; build and maintain such a lake permanently. You will also play a key role in developing the analyses and algorithms that identify the patterns and type of usage of our data that allow us to find opportunities to improve its usage and storage.

<h2>What you’ll do</h2>
<ul>
<li>Be part of a high-output team, directly contributing to company results;</li>
<li>Build the required date lakes and do the corresponding ETL in order to be able to consolidate and query information about multiple data sources;</li>
<li>Enhance our data discovery capabilities;</li>
<li>Identify unused data and propose how to handle it (sampling, deletion, move to colder classes of storage);</li>
<li>Find and propose data modeling optimizations across the data lake to avoid inefficiencies like duplicated data, data normalization, data types, etc. (table partitioning, migrating to delta tables);</li>
<li>Develop an internal cost allocation data lake for our most significant technology providers.</li>
</ul>
<h2>What you'll need</h2>
<ul>
<li>University degree in courses related to computing such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field;</li>
<li>Solid experience working as a data engineer on technically challenging problems;</li>
<li>Proficiency in programming with SQL and Python;</li>
<li>Experience creating data pipelines;</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience with AWS;</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience with Airflow or other workflow management tool is a differential.</li>

It is the default console which is used by all enterprise customers on a daily basis. The team is self-motivated and owns the product with full sense of responsibility and customer empathy.  As a Senior QA Engineer, you will conduct thorough manual testing of our web-based analytic product to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance concerns. You will also develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.  You will need in-depth knowledge of web-servers, browsers to backend integration, and working of the databases.  You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to ensure high-quality releases. You will also design and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements. You will participate in requirement analysis and review meetings to provide valuable input on testability and quality aspects. You will investigate and troubleshoot reported issues, working closely with development teams to resolve them in a timely manner. You will continuously improve testing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness. You will mentor junior QA engineers and assist in their professional development. You will stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in QA methodologies.

Required Experience/Skills: <ul><li>BE / BTech / MTech in Computer Science or related engineering fields.</li><li>6+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on testing web-based applications.</li><li>Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.</li><li>Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP and also on Database like MS SQL.</li><li>Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Robot Automation framework, Jmeter or related tools.</li><li>Hands on experience with Azure, AWS or any other public cloud and deployments.</li><li>Solid programming skills in languages such as Powershell, C#.</li><li>Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time. </li></ul>
