As the Partner Program Event Producer, you will take the lead in planning, managing, and executing private events for company partners.  You will be responsible for managing logistics for all stages of the event, including pre-event, on-site, and post-event activities, ensuring a smooth execution and exceptional partner experience. You will also create high-impact events that deliver strong ROI for partners, ensuring their engagement and satisfaction. This position requires strong project management skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be a self-starter with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities, capable of prioritizing and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will also be comfortable working across time zones, collaborating with global teams and managing virtual project calls.

	Partner Program Event Producer – Hybrid (6-Month Contract) Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re currently seeking a Partner Program Event Producer to join the Partner Programs team for an exciting 6-month contract opportunity based in Houston, TX. This hybrid role will require candidates to be local to Houston or willing to travel to Houston for the event in March for a 10-day on-site commitment.
As the Partner Program Event Producer, you will take the lead in planning, managing, and executing private events for company partners. This position is perfect for an experienced event producer with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences and driving successful outcomes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
<h3>Responsibilities:</h3>

<li>Serve as the primary liaison with event chairs and commercial leads, ensuring the timely development of compelling event agendas.
</li><li>Manage logistics for all stages of the event, including pre-event, on-site, and post-event activities, ensuring a smooth execution and exceptional partner experience.
</li><li>Create high-impact events that deliver strong ROI for partners, ensuring their engagement and satisfaction.
</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with programming, operations, and commercial teams to align on event goals and messaging.
</li><li>Communicate regularly with leadership to provide event status updates, proactively identifying potential risks and solutions.
</li><li>Stay informed on partner strategies and organizational changes to tailor event content and participation accordingly.
</li><li>Work closely with the partnership sales team to maximize the commercial impact of private partner programs.
</li><li>Develop a deep understanding of partner personas and key companies to ensure relevant and tailored event experiences.
</li><li>Ensure consistency in messaging, processes, and event delivery across all partner events.

</li><li>Must be local to Houston or willing to travel to Houston for the 10-day event in March.

What You Would Do At Commutatus You’ll primarily work in a squad of 6 - 8 people comprising Designers, Frontend Engineers, Backend Engineers, and a Project Manager. Your responsibilities will include - <ul><li>Research and feasibility checks: Provide input based on research or your experience to assist in the ideation of features. You’ll frequently advise the team on the feasibility of ideas and provide alternate routes to meet the feature's objective.</li><li>Planning and estimation: You will assist the squad in planning and estimating features to ensure they roll out on time and function as expected.</li><li>Software development: Develop robust APIs for platforms that we manage. You’ll also be involved in analyzing performance and errors to keep the platform at the top of its game! We build plugins/templates for features that are common across platforms. You’ll need to keep an eye out for such opportunities and may even be involved in building them.</li><li>Continuous improvement: Participate actively in team retrospective events by flagging problems and frustrations and offering solutions. </li></ul>
What You Need To Have We are not big on credentials. We do not spend much time looking at a computer science degree or graduating from a prestigious university. We care about what you can do and how you do it, not how you got there. Absolute Requirements <ul><li>You are open to working remotely.</li><li>You have exceptional communication skills.</li><li>You are resourceful. We don’t expect you to know all the answers right away, but we want you to research and learn on the go to get the job done right.</li><li>You can identify problems around you, and independently propose solutions to these problems. Skills And Experiences We’d Like To See <ul><li>You’ve built scalable digital platforms before that have been deployed to production environments.</li><li>You know how GraphQL and REST APIs work, i.e., how to build, maintain, and improve them.</li><li>You have designed databases and optimized their performance.</li><li>You understand the different components of a backend system, such as app servers, databases, and caches.</li><li>You have a sound understanding of deploying apps to staging or production via automated tools such as Github Actions or Travis. </li></ul>
