 Job Description Job Summary: <ul><li>If you are an automated testing professional, with test script development background and looking for career opportunity, Emerson has an exciting offer to you! Automation Test Engineer will be working with the System Integration team located globally, within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)-based organization aimed at delivering world-quality process control products built across web, cloud, PC and embedded platforms, integrated with locally developed hardware. </li></ul>
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: <ul><li>Working with the test automation team for developing testing strategy of the project, the types of tests (UI Automation, functional automation, performance/load, and so on).</li><li>Supporting to develop automated cases for the different types of tests employed.</li><li>Executing and reporting on the full testing suite of both manual and automated tests.</li><li>Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.</li><li>Generating new ideas, for improving the quality and productivity of the team.</li><li>Be proactive in keeping your skills fresh.</li><li>Reviewing and providing detailed feedback on peers' design and code </li><li>Providing accurate estimates and effectively communicate status. </li><li>Participating in agile best practices and a culture of relentless improvement </li></ul>

For This Role, You Will Need: <ul><li>Minimum 4+ years of automated testing experience with one or more of the following test automation tools: Appium, Selenium, TestStack.White, Coded UI,</li><li>Possess knowledge of programming languages like C#, PowerShell, Python and JavaScript.</li><li>Familiarity with DevOps, TFS, MTM, GIT.</li><li>Knowledge of virtualization technologies including Microsoft Hyper-V or VMWare installation and administration.</li><li>Possess a burning desire to get into automation, coupled with programming experience and a strong work ethic.</li><li>Able to create clear, concise, detail-oriented test plans from specifications or verbal communications.</li><li>High attention to detail with proven ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities of various sizes and complexities. A track record of making things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires you to use your initiative, imagination, and common sense to be successful.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to collaborate and work successfully with teams across the organization. Excellent written and oral presentation skills.</li><li>An appreciation for pragmatism and simplicity in solutions. </li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent. A relevant master’s degree is a plus.</li><li>Demonstrate team spirit when working in teams.</li><li>Experience with Agile software development (particularly Scrum).</li><li>Knowledge of best practices for agile testing on a Scrum team.</li><li>Experience using a test case management system.</li><li>Be accurate and deliver quality.</li><li>Excellent, collaborative team player with communication skills to match.</li><li>Adaptable and flexible in meeting demands. Relentless and passionate to get the job done.</li><li>Proactive –take responsibility and own the solution within a collaborative team environment.</li><li>Ability to thrive in ambiguous environment.</li><li>Work well under pressure and thrive in a demanding environment.
