 About Evermore Evermore Orlando Resort is an innovative 1,100-acre resort adjacent to Walt Disney World® featuring centrally owned upscale and upsized vacation rental homes, flats &amp; villas, a luxury Conrad hotel, 36 holes of world-class Jack Nicklaus golf, and a massive 20-acre tropical beach complex around Evermore Bay, our 8-acre crystalline water amenity by Crystal Lagoons®. The surrounding beach areas feature zero-entry swim areas, bars, cabanas, private firepits, a lively food hall &amp; gourmet market, a casual dining restaurant, and an event Boathouse that will provide a picture-perfect backdrop for weddings, banquets, and corporate meetings. Evermore is building a team that will bring these experiences to life and is seeking individuals who want the challenge of building this exciting resort experience. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Exhibit your sand sculpting creativity and artistic skills by conceptualizing and designing new additions to the sand sculpture, ensuring it aligns with the resort branding and theme.</li><li>Perform Daily Maintenance and updates on the 100-ton sand sculpture. Inspect it for any damage or erosion and perform necessary repairs. Update the sculpture with new characters, property branded items, and Florida-themed elements to keep it fresh and engaging for guests.</li><li>Focus on detail when sculpting characters and elements, ensuring that they are lifelike and recognizable to guests.</li><li>Conduct hands on sand sculpting classes, interactions, and contests for resort guests of all ages and skill levels.</li><li>Collaborate with the events team and recreation team to design and execute custom sand sculptures for weddings, group events, and special occasions, incorporating specific themes and preferences.</li><li>Update the sand sculpture(s) throughout the day to ensure they remain visually striking and captivating.</li><li>Take frequent photographs of the sand sculpture at various stages of completion and share them with the resort’s social media channels or website to promote guest engagement and attract visitors.</li><li>Discuss feedback from guests and management to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to the sand sculpture program over time.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage and maintenance of sculpting tools and equipment.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with guests, answering questions, and accommodating special requests related to sand sculpting activities.</li><li>Promote sand sculpting classes with guests and encourage them to join classes.</li><li> Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests participating in the sand activities. </li></ul>
Education, Skills, And Experience <ul><li> Demonstrated proficiency artistic talent and creativity, with the ability to create intricate and visually stunning sculptures. The interview will include a testing component to verify these skills.</li><li>Ability to work with various sculpting tools and equipment, including shovels, trowels, and carving implements.</li><li>Creativity and imagination to conceptualize and design new additions to the sand sculpture.</li><li>Attention to detail and precision to ensure high quality craftsmanship in every aspect of the sculpture.</li><li>Excellent communication skills that present the enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.</li><li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.</li><li>Adhere to property and company policies and procedures.</li><li>3+ years of experience in sand sculpting, with proven track record of creating impressive and engaging sculptures.</li><li>A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of sand sculpting projects, including characters, scenes, and themed designs.</li><li>Experience collaborating with teams or leading small groups to complete large scale sculpting projects.</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism. </li></ul>
Physical Requirements <ul><li> Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach periodically.</li><li>Physical stamina and dexterity to work outdoors in various weather conditions and manipulate sand for extended periods.</li><li>Subject to environmental conditions, work activities mainly occur outdoors with minimal indoor work.</li><li>Standing and walking for a long period of time. </li></ul>
