The Health & Safety Inspector at Walt Disney Imagineering will be the primary health and safety liaison between WDI and the shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, during Disney ship construction.  Responsibilities include developing and implementing safety policies and procedures compliant with local regulations and Disney standards; conducting regular inspections and audits; providing training to employees and contractors; investigating accidents and near misses; collaborating with project managers; liaising with regulatory agencies; and advocating for a strong safety culture. Summary As a CAD Technician, you're the digital architect behind our engineering projects. Your proficiency in CAD tools brings blueprints to life and ensures precise, detailed plans. Essential Functions And Responsibilities <ul><li>Utilize AutoCAD to create construction documents and perform quantity takeoffs. Construction documents will include site layouts, wire/cable routing plans, single line diagrams, construction details, equipment, and conduit details etc.</li><li>Coordinate with various design team disciplines including electrical engineers, civil engineers, structural engineers, and surveyors</li><li>Attain a basic level of understanding of the latest NEC and applicable design standards for Solar PV &amp; BESS projects in the USA</li><li>Create wiring/cable schedule-based takeoffs and sizing input from senior designers and engineers</li><li>Maintain awareness and knowledge of EVS design and CAD standards, as well as providing input for improvement</li><li>Provide basic CAD technical support as needed </li></ul>
Qualifications <ul><li>2+ years of experience in 2d drafting/design using AutoCAD</li><li>1+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communications skills</li><li>A strong work ethic and a positive attitude</li><li>Able to work in a highly collaborative environment and be a strong team player</li><li>Self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadline</li><li>High proficiency in English (spoken and written)</li><li>Experience and knowledge of basic electrical design concepts preferred</li><li>Working knowledge and ability to read construction drawings and specifications preferred</li><li>AutoCAD certification preferred </li></ul>
