Job Title: Senior JAMF Administrator (Subject Matter Expert) Job Summary: The Senior JAMF Administrator will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for our JAMF Pro environment. This role involves advanced administration, strategic planning, and providing high-level support for Apple devices across the organization. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Serve as the primary expert on JAMF Pro, providing guidance on best practices for Apple device management.</li><li>Develop, implement, and maintain mobile device management (MDM) solutions.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to JAMF deployment and device management.</li><li>Provide documentation and reporting on device compliance and management metrics.</li><li>Assist in the creation of policies and procedures for device security and management.</li><li>Develop and implement advanced configuration profiles, policies, and scripts.</li><li>Oversee the deployment and management of macOS and iOS devices.</li><li>Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.</li><li>Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for Apple devices.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Apple device initiatives.</li><li>Conduct regular system audits, generate detailed reports, and present findings to senior management.</li><li>Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members on JAMF functionalities.</li><li>Stay updated on the latest JAMF features and Apple device management trends.</li><li>Lead the administration and maintenance of the JAMF Pro environment.</li><li>Mentor and train junior IT staff on JAMF Pro best practices. </li></ul>
Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><li>Extensive experience as a JAMF Administrator or similar role.</li><li>Deep knowledge of macOS and iOS operating systems.</li><li>Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or AppleScript.</li><li>Strong experience with device management and MDM solutions.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and lead a team. </li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>JAMF 300 or 400 certification.</li><li>Experience with other MDM solutions.</li><li>Knowledge of network protocols and security.</li><li>Previous experience in a senior or SME role. </li></ul>
