The Editorial Manager, Features at National Geographic is a critical role responsible for assigning and editing ambitious stories across digital and print platforms.  This individual will manage the development, commissioning, and editing of various stories, focusing on reported projects across National Geographic's core content areas. They will leverage data and audience analytics to optimize story reach and impact.  Key responsibilities include managing workflows and team members, nurturing relationships with writers, and assisting leaders in scheduling and planning.  The ideal candidate is a self-starter passionate about exceptional magazine writing and digital storytelling, with deep connections to a diverse range of writers and a keen understanding of the National Geographic brand and mission. The role requires strong editorial judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Flow is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our growing Accounting team. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will manage various general accounting functions, oversee critical processes like the close process and accounts payable, contribute to management reporting efforts, and foster collaboration across departments. Responsibilities include preparing month-end and year-end accounting procedures, ensuring accurate monthly reporting, maintaining budget vs actual data, and assisting with external audits. You will also participate in special projects, team training, and development. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, 7-10 years of experience (mix of public and private preferred), a strong understanding of US GAAP, and excellent organization and communication skills.
