As a Senior Gameplay Programmer at Housemarque, you'll be a key member of the team behind their next big game, working closely with programmers, designers, and artists. Your responsibilities will include architecting and implementing robust gameplay systems, prototyping new ideas, defining coding practices, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior team members.  You will collaborate on game design requirements, build and maintain C++ code, and work with designers and animators to deliver high-quality features.  Estimating work, tracking progress, and contributing to roadmaps are also crucial aspects of the role. THE JOB
As a Senior Gameplay Programmer of the talented and passionate gameplay team behind RETURNAL you will work closely with a team of programmers, designers and artists to help drive the next evolution of Housemarque games.
As a Senior Gameplay Programmer your main responsibilities are architecting and implementing robust gameplay systems, as well as prototyping new gameplay ideas in close collaboration with designers and animators, to help us deliver award-winning gameplay. You will participate in the defining of coding practices and standards, and undertake code reviews to ensure these are followed. You will also be supporting other programmers and designers by providing technical mentorship and constructive feedback. In addition, your responsibilities within the team can be tailored to match your skills and interests.

As a Technical Producer you will be an integral part of the development team, constantly looking for opportunities to improve efficiency, introduce new ideas and evolve our production techniques.
<h3>What you will do</h3>
As a Senior Technical Producer, your main tasks and responsibilities are:

<li>Running numerous teams and pipelines which support the goal of continuing to make Decima a best in class engine.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ensuring tech teams and projects run as smoothly and efficiently as possible, from inception to completion on time, while working with limited supervision and using your own independent judgement outside of existing procedures when necessary.</li>
<li>Managing stakeholders and dependencies both within the company and external partners, while dealing with a large number of different teams, and the dynamics and personalities that come with them.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintaining project schedules and status reports, dealing with possible risks and inevitable changes/alterations to original planning before they impact the schedule or overall end result.</li>
<li>Efficient scheduling and running of meetings, assessing all prior requirements and ensuring goals are clear and followed up on.</li>
<li>Contributing ideas openly and regularly for improvements to our studio practices at Guerrilla.</li>

<h3>Who you are</h3>

<li>Have 5 or more years of experience in games as a Producer, working with complex cross disciplinary teams</li>
<li>Experience working on technical teams and projects such as Engine/Rendering or Tools</li>
<li>Have experienced all stages of AAA development from concept to release as a Producer, or similar stages within other technical software development fields</li>
<li>Have a keen ability to distill complex discussions into clear, actionable requirements while fostering effective collaboration with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.</li>
