Back End Developer

DAZN seeks a Broadcast Support Engineer to monitor critical broadcast systems, troubleshoot technical faults, and maintain playout equipment. They emphasize an inclusive environment that promotes equality and values contributions from all backgrounds Job descriptionAs their new Broadcast Support Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to: <ul><li>Monitoring of DAZN’s critical broadcast systems</li><li>Act as an escalation point for operations teams in resolving technical faults.</li><li>Provide regular maintenance of broadcast playout and related production equipment.</li><li>Follow best practices and procedures on internal and external ITSM systems.</li><li>Attending meetings with team leaders and senior engineers to improve process and instructional guidance documentation.</li><li>Communication and escalation with vendors</li></ul>
 You’ll be set up for success if you have: <ul><li>Knowledge of broadcast technology including playout, IP networking, contribution, and video and audio encoding</li><li>Experience with technical fault finding and root cause analysis.</li><li>Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or similar</li><li>Experience using monitoring tools such as Dataminer, Grafana or similar.</li><li>Experience working on 24/7 shift patterns.</li><li>Even better if you have:</li><li>Knowledge of Cloud and Virtualisation technologies</li><li>Awareness of current OTT encoding technologies</li></ul>
