As a Back-End Engineer, you'll join a multidisciplinary team, designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services, working closely with frontend, DevOps, and cloud architects. You will work closely with frontend engineers, DevOps professionals, and cloud architects to ensure a seamless and efficient development process. You should also be a strong technical mentor, supporting and guiding colleagues to help the team grow.</p><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Design, develop, and implement backend APIs using secure and efficient programming languages and frameworks.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Migrate and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Automate backend deployments and infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Optimize cloud resource utilization for cost-effectiveness and scalability.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Implement robust security measures to protect applications and data in the cloud (OWASP).</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in cloud technologies.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Effectively integrate AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) into the development workflow to enhance code writing, code reviews, and overall productivity.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Act as a mentor for colleagues, providing guidance, support, and knowledge sharing to help the team grow.</li></ul><h3 class="text-xl md:text-2xl font-bold mt-8 mb-3 text-gray-800">Who you are</h3><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Excellent knowledge of TypeScript (<strong>5+ years of experience</strong>).</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Proven experience working with cloud platforms like AWS.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Good knowledge of authentication technologies, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Strong knowledge of database technologies, both relational and NoSQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Good understanding of messaging and broker systems (Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Kafka, SNS, SQS).</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Solid understanding of security concepts and best practices (OWASP).</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Familiarity with DevOps practices, including infrastructure-as-code, observability, and CI/CD.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Good understanding of quality engineering practices.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Strong communication and collaboration skills.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Passion for building high-quality, scalable, and secure software.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Advanced use of AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate software delivery, refine algorithmic solutions, and critically validate AI-generated output.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is an asset.</li></ul><h3 class="text-xl md:text-2xl font-bold mt-8 mb-3 text-gray-800">What we offer</h3><p class="my-4 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed">Joining In The Pocket means becoming part of a team that shapes the future of our clients’ businesses across Europe.
