Ivanti seeks a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Linux/Unix applications, proficient in C & C++, Perl & Python. Strong understanding of Linux internals, Secure Boot, Bootloader, SELinux, certificates, cryptography, and networking protocols (DHCP, TCP/IP, AAA, RADIUS, LDAP, SNMP, 802.1X, IPSec).

Our security engineering team is at the core of our products with the mission of providing Secure Access. What You Will Be Doing <ul><li>Hands-on design and develop features for enhancing the security of our Network Security products </li><li>Collaborate with architects and fellow software engineers to identify the best solutions for security challenges </li><li>Pay special attention to the Quality &amp; Security in all stages of development </li><li>Ensure a high degree of security as well as reliability, availability, performance and scalability of the product </li><li>Maintain existing code and troubleshoot issues in large scale complex environments </li><li>Collaborate with other teams in the organization </li><li>Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members</li><li>Take complete ownership of the end to end delivery which also includes Unit Testing, Validation and Automation of the deliverables </li></ul>
Core Skills To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have: <ul><li>5+ years of hands-on software Engineering experience targeting Linux/Unix applications</li><li>Proficient in C &amp; C++ and good experience in Perl &amp; Python</li><li>Solid experience with Linux system and middleware programming</li><li>Good understanding of the Linux Operating System Internals, Linux OS Bring Up, Secure Boot, Bootloader, SELinux.</li><li>Strong understanding of certificates and cryptography</li><li>Good Understanding of Networking Protocols (DHCP, TCP/IP, AAA, RADIUS, LDAP, SNMP, 802.1X, IPSec) a BIG PLUS</li><li>Significant plus: experience working on Platform side for Enterprise Networking or Security Appliances</li><li>Significant plus: of Experience working in Networking Security products preferably in SSL-VPN, NAC, WAF or Firewall products</li><li>Ability to triage, reproduce, recommend remediations and implement fixes for security vulnerabilities </li></ul>
