Journee seeks a Lead Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure to design and implement sophisticated deployment pipelines for thousands of concurrent GPU servers.  Responsibilities include managing large-scale deployments, tackling complex challenges, conducting research, documenting best practices, and building robust, scalable architectures.  The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of AWS experience (serverless architectures), strong programming skills (TypeScript or Go), and expertise in IaC and containerization.  Experience with other cloud platforms and a passion for innovation are highly valued. <li>Design and implement sophisticated, flexible deployment pipelines, ensuring efficient, streamlined, and well-thought-out processes that promote scalability and reliability.</li>
<li>Manage large-scale deployments of thousands of&nbsp; concurrent GPU servers, maintaining precise control over performance and efficiency.</li>
<li>Leverage deep technical expertise to tackle complex challenges and deliver high-impact solutions in collaboration with the team.</li>
<li>Conduct in-depth research, document best practices, and advocate for the adoption of robust, scalable architectures.</li>
<li>Play a central role in building robust, testable, operable, and maintainable software.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Who we are looking for</h3>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of professional experience with AWS, with a strong emphasis on serverless architectures</li>
<li>Strong programming skills (preferably TypeScript or Go)</li>
<li>Deep expertise in AWS, and security best practices</li>
<li>Comprehensive understanding of at least one other leading cloud platform (Azure or Google Cloud).</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)</li>
<li>Solid grasp of containerization technologies like Docker</li>
<li>A formal computer science education is not required, we highly value demonstrable practical experience and a passion for innovation</li>
<li>Highly adaptable and thriving in dynamic, fast-paced startup environments</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively</li>
<li>Professional fluency in English, both spoken and written</li>
</ul>
<h3>Nice to have:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience in AWS CDK</li>
<li>Experience in systems programming</li>
<li>Experience in C</li>
<li>Experience with low-latency video streaming systems</li>
<li>Experience in graphics programming and rendering APIs such as DirectX, Vulkan or OpenGL</li>
<li>Knowledge in the Wine ecosystem (Proton, VKD3D, etc.)</li>
