The Editorial Manager, Features at National Geographic is a critical role responsible for assigning and editing ambitious stories across digital and print platforms.  This individual will manage the development, commissioning, and editing of various stories, focusing on reported projects across National Geographic's core content areas. They will leverage data and audience analytics to optimize story reach and impact.  Key responsibilities include managing workflows and team members, nurturing relationships with writers, and assisting leaders in scheduling and planning.  The ideal candidate is a self-starter passionate about exceptional magazine writing and digital storytelling, with deep connections to a diverse range of writers and a keen understanding of the National Geographic brand and mission. The role requires strong editorial judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

They should possess deep connections with a diverse range of extraordinary writers, and an eagerness to dream up new and creative ways to engage and grow National Geographic’s audience.Responsibilities: <ul><li>Manage the development, commissioning, and editing of various stories, with a focus on ambitious reported projects across all of National Geographic’s core content areas.</li><li>Manage related workflows and team members to ensure that projects come together in accordance with deadlines and budgets, while meeting editorial objectives.</li><li>Leverage data and audience analytics to develop and implement strategies for optimizing the reach and impact of our stories across platforms.</li><li>Form, nurture, and maintain relationships with exceptional writers; Develop and deepen connection with new voices and diverse perspectives.</li><li>Assist leaders in scheduling and planning for project publication and completion; supervise administrative tasks, as needed.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of publishing experience that demonstrates increasing editorial responsibility with a large media organization(s), while managing content and teams.</li><li>Outstanding editorial judgement, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills.</li><li>Excellent writing and verbal communications skills, strong knowledge of the National Geographic brand and mission, and demonstrated expertise in related core topic areas.</li><li>Ability to take overall responsibility for concept and content, as well as manage creative relationships.</li><li>Keen understanding of industry goals, varied approaches to storytelling, and ability to manage multiple projects at once, on deadline.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to work with minimal supervision, problem solve creatively, and exercise independent judgment.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Ability to manage and grow a related team while working collaboratively in highly matrixed conditions with colleagues outside editorial, including communications and marketing, and business support (sales, promotion, and development).</li><li>Proven track record in growing digital audiences and expanding brand reach.</li><li>Curiosity about the planet and our place within it and the ability to grasp new subject matter quickly.</li><li>Understanding of the editorial process from conception to completion, and demonstrated ability to resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, Editorial CMS (K4/InCopy), digital media platforms; knowledge of AirTable is a plus.</li></ul>Required Education:<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree</li></ul> The hiring range for this position in Washington, D.C. is $113,800.00 to $152,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Lattice Semiconductor is seeking a Staff SystemC modelling Engineer to develop and integrate fast models of ASICs. Must have 10+ years of experience in SystemC based C model development, integration, and testing. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Experience with Virtualizer or ReNode is a plus.

Lattice Semiconductor is seeking a Staff SystemC modelling Engineer who would be part of the team responsible for developing the C models needed for developing and integrating fast models of our future ASICs comprising 32 bit ARM or RISC-V CPUs, peripherals, glue logic etc. Developing these fast model based platforms for our ASICs involves integration with fast modelling platforms of industry leading vendors like Synopsys. Familiarity with third party modelling platforms like Virtualizer is an added plus. Accountabilities Responsibilities &amp; Skills <ul><li>Be part of the team responsible for integration of fast models for CPUs, third party IPs and glue-logic models using system C &amp; python based frameworks.</li><li>Adhere to industry best practices for accurate and reliable system C models and integration with platforms like Virtualizer or ReNode.</li><li>Collaborate with Firmware, boot ROM &amp; verification teams to debug, root-cause and fix system bugs be it hardware or software or model. </li></ul>
Required Skills <ul><li>Graduate degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications or similar engineering discipline.</li><li>An accomplished professional with more than 10+ years of experience in System C based C model development, integration and testing in collaboration with RTL design and verification teams.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to thrive in an ever changing, fast paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.</li><li>Experience and preference for working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and able to collaborate with engineers, product managers and peers. </li></ul>
