The Environment Prop Lead at Infinity Ward oversees the creation and quality standards of environment models. You’ll join a team of leaders focusing on empowering our global team of artists and help make our maps and environments come alive through realism and storytelling.We’re seeking an experienced artist who knows the ins and outs of creating believable and interesting models, within the technical and artistic constraints of consoles and mobile. You should be able to educate artists and describe why or how an asset can look better or be more performant. As a mentor you’re proactively finding solutions to improve pipelines and workflows and deliver clear and constructive feedback to both internal and external artists with confidence. Collaborating comes natural to you, guiding others to be successful in their task.Being an ambassador for environmental prop art, you’ll represent the Infinity Ward Studio within the franchise working with level artists, photogrammetry experts, leads and Directors within our and other Call of Duty studios.  Acoustics Lead Overview of RoleLiquid Robotics is seeking an Acoustics Lead to join our team in the development of autonomous-ocean-robot-based, persistent, sensing solutions. This position will be responsible for developing technical solutions to complex acoustic sensing problems that require ingenuity and creativity, which are enabled by the Wave Glider USV. By joining our small but highly-motivated team, you will be helping us achieve our goals by participating in engineering design activities and working with cross-functional teams to deliver world-changing products. The successful candidate will bring significant design and product life-cycle experience to the role, will be motivated by our vision to change the world, and will be excited to work in a dynamic, small-company environment. This role reports directly to our Head of Engineering as part of our development team. This position is staffed out of our headquarters/design center located in Herndon, Virginia, but strong candidates will be considered for a hybrid work arrangement with regular travel required. Essential Responsibilities: <ul><li>Work with customers to understand custom acoustic sensing needs and define requirements</li><li>Work with engineering team (systems, hardware, and software) to develop an acoustic sensing design that meets customer needs</li><li>Lead the creation of hardware/software/algorithm specifications based on user requirements</li><li>Participate in concept and design reviews</li><li>Support the development and delivery of solution-specific training to customers</li><li>Design and baseline underwater acoustic test plans and lead their implementation and execution in the field</li><li>Prepare reports on sensing effectiveness and system performance, including data analysis, data interpretation, results obtained, and recommendations on next steps</li></ul>
 Key Attributes: <ul><li>Ability to think analytically</li><li>Strong technical skills in most of the following: acoustics, RADAR and/or SONAR signal processing, algorithm development, detection and estimation theory, wave propagation, and data analysis</li><li>In depth knowledge of the marine environment and its advantages and disadvantages related to acoustic sensing</li><li>Detailed understanding of passive SONAR principles and their application in dynamic ocean environments (i.e., shallow-depth, towed arrays)</li></ul>
 Minimum Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field</li><li>At least nine years direct experience in developing passive acoustic sensing solutions. Preference given for experience related to the design of maritime acoustic sensing solutions in general and acoustic sensing solutions for uncrewed platforms in particular</li><li>Experience with acoustic analysis software</li><li>Experience conducting acoustic propagation modelling</li><li>Experience in the design and specification of acoustic arrays, with towed arrays being preferred</li><li>Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills</li><li>Must be US Person</li><li>Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. An active security clearance at time of hire is preferred</li></ul>
