The Layout Artist is responsible for creating cameras, environments, props, and determining shot timing for pre-visualization.  They will facilitate the creation of 3D versions of shots, working under the direction of the animation supervisor and layout lead.  Responsibilities include creating rough models and environments, assisting the animation department with technical setup, troubleshooting, maintaining continuity, and collaborating on technical layout aspects. The ideal candidate possesses 2-3 years of experience in layout artistry for feature films, episodic projects, or commercials, showcasing a strong portfolio of Layout and Matchmove skills. A deep understanding of cinematic techniques, Maya or a similar 3D package, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
