Responsibilities <ul><li>Operate independently and have strong knowledge in Unix Platforms (Linux, Ubuntu, Solaris, AIX ) </li><li>As subject area expert, provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level</li><li>Carry out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult</li><li>Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities</li><li>Conduct preliminary analysis</li><li>Responsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or management</li><li>Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas. Required Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline.</li><li>12+ years of experience in Unix ( Red Hat Linux, Ubuntu, Solaris, AIX )</li><li>Strong knowledge of Unix LDAP, File Systems, Volume Manager, NFS</li><li>Experience with patching/updating the environment using tools like Satellite</li><li>Strong collaboration and relationship management skills, including experiences in management relationship</li><li>Innovative thinking and leadership with an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams</li><li>Highly flexible and adaptable to change, technology forward thinking</li><li>Understanding of IT Infrastructure Technologies VMWare, Azure</li><li>Proficient written and oral communication skills</li><li>Extensive experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems, such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, or CentOS.</li><li>Extensive experience of migrating to the cloud.</li><li>Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, including their services and management tools.</li><li>Strong scripting and automation skills using languages like Ansible, Bash, Python, or Ruby.</li><li>Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.</li><li>Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, load balancing, and firewalls. </li></ul>
