QA Engineer, Automation

Notion seeks a skilled QA Engineer, Automation with 7+ years' experience in Test Automation, frameworks, tools, and scalable automation for front-end and back-end. Proficiency in Selenium, Mocha/Jest, GIT, Xpaths, and 2 programming languages is required. Strong knowledge of mobile automation, REST/SOAP integrations, and microservices is a must.

What You’ll Achieve <ul><li>Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable automation scripts.</li><li>To analyze and understand the functional requirements for In Scope automation.</li><li>Identify Pre and Post conditions for execution and the exception handling mechanism.</li><li>Follow all laid down testing standards and procedures and review the automation test, validation, and pilot results to ensure they meet entry and exit criteria.</li><li>Ensure defects are identified, captured and resolved using the agreed the Defect Management process </li></ul>
Skills You'll Need To Bring  <ul><li>Over all 7+ years of experience and expert level of knowledge in Test Automation (frameworks, tools, approaches), scalable automation frameworks for front end and backend, building utility scripts and Improving ROI teams.</li><li>Experience in tools such as Selenium, Mocha/Jest, GIT, Xpaths</li><li>Strong knowledge of at least 2 programming languages (including 1 scripting language) are Java/JS/Typescript/python</li><li>Good understanding of mobile automation and tools thats should be familiar with is Appium</li><li>Solid background in design and implementation of external services integrations using REST/SOAP, microservices</li> <ul><li>Should be able to create and deploy services using any of the framework</li></ul>
<li>Strong knowledge of architecture and ability to suggest different automation solutions based on architecture specifics</li><li>Experience in setting up test automation strategies for different domains and projects</li><li>Deep understanding of Test Architectures, and hands-on-experience in the Development of the same</li><li>Involved in Automation Estimation analysis and Feasibility study for many projects.</li><li>Experience with multiple full lifecycle software development processes, approaches and methods</li><li>Must have strong communications skills handling cross-functional team </li></ul>
Nice To Haves <ul><li>Exposure towards Python, CircleCI, AWS - (S3, Codebuild)</li><li>Knowledge on Playwright automation tool</li><li>Knowledge on Performance testing tool/scripting</li><li>Knowledge of test scripting and processes like BDD, TDD , DevOps</li><li>CI/CD Pipeline integration</li><li>Agile Methodology </li></ul>
