This temporary, on-site Audio Test Analyst position in San Diego involves analyzing game audio content and executing tests throughout the PlayStation Studios Audio QA process.  Responsibilities include defect detection and reporting, utilizing game engine and audio middleware debug tools (like Wwise), creating and executing test cases, communicating with development teams, and adhering to QA standards.  The role requires strong communication skills, understanding of audio terminology, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.  The analyst will also identify and escalate title risks and suggest solutions.

Position Overview
<ul>
<li>Analysis of game audio content and test execution throughout the PlayStation Studios Audio QA test process.</li>
</ul>
Main Duties &amp; Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Defect detection, diagnosis and reporting</li>
<li>Understanding and Executing PlayStation Studios QA test processes.</li>
<li>Monitoring and updating of defect tracking database.</li>
<li>Reporting on testing status or progress.</li>
<li>Direct communication with audio development teams to understand audio design intent.</li>
<li>Use of game engine based and audio middleware debug tools such as Wwise to diagnose and profile audio issues.</li>
<li>Creation and execution of test cases.</li>
<li>On-site testing if applicable.</li>
<li>Identifies, documents, and escalates title risk.</li>
<li>Adheres to PlayStation Studios QA standards of performance.</li>
</ul>

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.&nbsp; In addition, this role is eligible for SIE’s top-tier benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k), paid time off, wellness program and coveted employee discounts for Sony products.
