This is a hands-on, high-visibility role where you will own critical areas of the close and reporting process, working with both traditional financial instruments and digital assets.</p><p class="my-4 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed">If you are a CPA with crypto accounting experience and are excited about building scalable accounting processes at the frontier of digital payments and stablecoin infrastructure, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact.</p><h2 class="text-2xl md:text-3xl font-bold mt-10 mb-4 border-b pb-2 text-gray-800">Your Responsibilities</h2><p class="my-4 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed">You will execute and support core accounting processes across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and scalability in a complex global environment.</p><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepaid schedules, and intercompany reconciliations</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Reconcile bank accounts and digital asset wallets with high-volume transaction activity</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Account for complex financial instruments (including investment agreements, loan facilities, SAFEs/SAFTs, and warrants) in accordance with US GAAP, including classification, measurement, and ongoing monitoring</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Perform entity-level financial statement flux analysis and prepare detailed variance reports (horizontal and vertical) for subsidiaries</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Support preparation of US GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures across multiple jurisdictions</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Maintain audit-ready workpapers and support external audits and regulatory reporting, including U.S. state filings related to money transmitter licenses</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Perform crypto subledger reconciliations between NetSuite and digital asset systems, including maintaining rollforward schedules</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Document accounting treatment for digital asset transactions and support ongoing policy development</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Contribute to process improvements and support automation initiatives, including AI-driven reconciliation and reporting enhancements</li></ul><h2 class="text-2xl md:text-3xl font-bold mt-10 mb-4 border-b pb-2 text-gray-800">What You'll Need</h2><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">CPA with 4+ years of progressive accounting experience under US GAAP, including exposure to complex accounting areas</li><li class="leading-relaxed">At least 1 year of hands-on experience with crypto or digital asset accounting</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Experience with NetSuite and high-volume reconciliations in a production environment</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Proficiency with Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets</li></ul><h2 class="text-2xl md:text-3xl font-bold mt-10 mb-4 border-b pb-2 text-gray-800">Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Experience supporting Big 4 audits</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Background in regulatory compliance and audits within financial services, including money transmitter licensing</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Familiarity with stablecoins, payments infrastructure, or tokenized financial instruments</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Experience with crypto subledger tools and systems</li></ul><h2 class="text-2xl md:text-3xl font-bold mt-10 mb-4 border-b pb-2 text-gray-800">Polygon Labs Perks</h2><p class="my-4 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed">The goal of the Polygon Labs total rewards program is to support the health and well-being of you and your family.
