Propel is seeking an Ad Operations Specialist to join their team and ensure the smooth execution of partner campaigns. This role involves managing the end-to-end process, from campaign intake and quality assurance to setup, launch, and monitoring within internal systems and Braze. The specialist will collaborate with Business Development and Customer Success teams to guarantee timely and error-free campaign launches, actively monitoring pacing and performance, and troubleshooting issues. Responsibilities also include maintaining process documentation for consistency and scale, managing the Marketplace content calendar, and supporting the Lifecycle Marketing team with push campaigns. The company aims to empower low-income Americans by simplifying access to government benefits through technology, with a focus on scaling its innovative business.

We’re looking for an Ad Operations Specialist to help the team execute our partners’ campaigns smoothly and save our users more money. What you’ll do: <ul> <li>Own end-to-end execution of brand campaigns: intake, QA, setup in our internal campaign management system and Braze, launch, and monitoring</li> <li>Ensure all campaigns launch on time and without errors, coordinating closely with Business Development and Customer Success</li> <li>QA campaign inputs like copy, tracking links, images, and tags — and flag or resolve gaps proactively</li> <li>Monitor pacing and performance, surfacing risks to delivery, and partnering with Customer Success Managers to troubleshoot in real-time</li> <li>Maintain and improve process documentation to support consistency and scale</li> <li>Manage the Marketplace content calendar, ensuring campaigns are properly booked and launched as planned</li> <li>Support Lifecycle Marketing team in deploying push campaigns via Braze tied to key Marketplace initiatives </li> </ul> Requirements: <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in ad operations, campaign management, project management, or equivalent roles</li> <li>Detail-oriented and organized, with a knack for catching small errors before they become problems</li> <li>Excellent at prioritizing in fast-paced environments, managing multiple campaigns and stakeholders at once</li> <li>Comfortable working independently and navigating ambiguity</li> <li>Skilled in Google Sheets/Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF, pivot tables); familiarity with HTML, or Braze is a strong plus</li> <li>Strong communicator — clear, timely, and proactive with both technical and non-technical partners</li> <li>Bonus: Experience working at a startup or in a lean, cross-functional environment</li> </ul> We Offer: <ul> <li>An immediate opportunity to make an impact on our users and the business we’re building.</li> <li>A get-stuff-done culture that is also fun and caring.</li> <li>Work that really is helping people with meaningful challenges</li> <li>A remote-first working environment with headquarters in Brooklyn and satellite offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Salt Lake City.</li> <li>Propel believes that everyone should be compensated fairly and equitably. We set our salary ranges using compensation data from hundreds of NYC-based startups at our stage. Additionally, pay is not determined based on location. Compensation for this position includes base salary and a performance-based bonus. The salary range for this position is $70,000 - 90,000, depending on experience. The bonus is a combination of individual and team revenue performance. The total on-target earnings (OTE) is&nbsp;$77,000 - $99,000. There is potential for a larger bonus if individual and/or team revenue targets are exceeded.
