QA/QC Technician

QA/QC Technician needed for a manufacturing facility in Sohar, India. 3+ years of experience required. Key responsibilities include inspecting and testing products, analyzing test data, ensuring equipment functionality, and maintaining lab housekeeping.

 Key Deliverables <ul><li>Inspect and test products compounds to determine chemical and physical properties. Composition related to the spectrometer machine. Structure, relationships,</li><li>Maintain sample from each batch along with the classification.</li><li>Checking material as per standard and following IMS format.</li><li>Handling of sample preparation machine and sample transportation equipment to be handled properly.</li><li>Compile and analyze test information to determine process or equipment operating efficiency and to diagnose.</li><li>You will be responsibility to Assist the QA Engineer/QA/QC Assistance Manager job in case of requirement.</li><li>Carry out additional testing on non-routine sample</li><li>You will be responsibility to Carry out any other duties as and when required by the QA Engineer/QA/QC Assistance Manager.</li><li>The Technical will work on a shift basis, working overtime as and when required.</li><li>You will be responsibility to Ensure that operational data are regularly and accurately recorded, so that reliable information about performance and materials stocks are available at required times.</li><li>You will be responsibility to Follow safety, quality system procedure, practices and maintain the housekeeping of workplace as per OAPIL IMS and OAPIL HSE Standard.</li><li>Any assignments by direct report</li><li>Monitor and manage the laboratories under the Quality Control department.</li><li>Ensure the raw materials are in line with OAPIL specifications.</li><li>Responsible to generate NCR in case of non-conformance and send to Vendor.</li><li>Assist and coordinate in all third-party inspections of the finished goods in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing department.</li><li>Ensure all lab equipment are functioning properly and are duly serviced and calibrated according to relevant standards. Coordinate and schedule with Vendors for calibration and certification.</li><li>Ensure proper training and weekly toolbox meeting is arranged for QC supervisors and inspectors.</li><li>Troubleshoot minor equipment failures and inconsistent analytical results in coordination with QC engineers and QC technicians.</li><li>Ensure strict compliance with all testing standards</li><li>Management/Team leader/Direct Line report can assign you any related task as deemed fit in process operation area in order to enhance the operating skills and reserves the right to transfer you other departments when needed to develop multitasking. </li></ul>

Relationships (External) <ul><li>Customers, Suppliers, Government / related ministries</li><li>Good problem-solving skill and quick decision making. </li></ul>
Experience <ul><li>3+ years of experience in similar manufacturing facility in the QC department. </li></ul>
