 We're looking for a talented and passionate Data Engineer to join Wildlife's Cloud Economics team in São Paulo, Brazil.
The mission of the Cloud Economics team at Wildlife is to have world-class productivity and efficiency across the company by finding and further investigating efficiency opportunities related to the usage and/or provisioning of technology resources.&nbsp;
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for gathering all the information needed into the data lake; build and maintain such a lake permanently. You will also play a key role in developing the analyses and algorithms that identify the patterns and type of usage of our data that allow us to find opportunities to improve its usage and storage.

<h2>What you’ll do</h2>
<ul>
<li>Be part of a high-output team, directly contributing to company results;</li>
<li>Build the required date lakes and do the corresponding ETL in order to be able to consolidate and query information about multiple data sources;</li>
<li>Enhance our data discovery capabilities;</li>
<li>Identify unused data and propose how to handle it (sampling, deletion, move to colder classes of storage);</li>
<li>Find and propose data modeling optimizations across the data lake to avoid inefficiencies like duplicated data, data normalization, data types, etc. (table partitioning, migrating to delta tables);</li>
<li>Develop an internal cost allocation data lake for our most significant technology providers.</li>
</ul>

<li>University degree in courses related to computing such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field;</li>
<li>Solid experience working as a data engineer on technically challenging problems;</li>
<li>Proficiency in programming with SQL and Python;</li>
<li>Experience creating data pipelines;</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience with AWS;</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience with Airflow or other workflow management tool is a differential.</li>

 Overview Senior Software Engineer shall be responsible for the module level (high and low) design, implementation and testing of a variety of software solutions in the product line. He/She should be able to effectively work independently within a team of technically strong engineers. He/She should be adhering to the schedules, standards and quality processes and procedures of the Organization. Software defect resolutions (including complex issues), testing and maintaining the software is an important task of a Senior Software Engineer. He/She shall be responsible for training/mentoring the junior team members. He/she shall contribute to the overall design, analysis and business requirements spanning across modules. Knowledge and ability to manage the entire software development life cycle process is essential for a Senior Software Engineer. He/She shall be ready to work in night shifts to provide Level 3 support for customer issues. When there are no customer issues to solve then he/she will be working on development activities in the product. Qualifications <ul><li>BE/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in the disciplines of EEE/ECE/CSE or MCA degree or equivalent experience.</li><li>At least 6 to 8 years in Software development using several of the skills and technologies mentioned below </li></ul>
