Senior QA Engineer

SEI seeks a Senior QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software development. Must have expertise in integration testing, API & UI Automation, and SDLC tools. Experience in Agile, investment processing, and performance testing is a plus.

 SEI has a challenging career opportunity for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. The candidate should be adaptable, possess a wide range of technical skills, and demonstrate the ability to understand financial services business requirements. The candidate should be a strong ‘utility’ type analyst with the ability to switch context quickly and efficiently with project managers, database engineers, technical operations and other platform personnel. What you will do: <ul><li>Drive and Coordinate the Integration QA team’s workload for proprietary and 3rd party applications</li><li>Work across teams, and business units, to coordinate and execute test plans</li><li>Develop and manage test strategies that will include test data population, regression testing, and integration testing using both manual and automation test beds to ensure a higher quality deliverable</li><li>Promote QA standards and best practices across our agile teams</li><li>Ensure regression tests are run in a traceable manner and that the team follows the SDLC policy</li><li>Work in a fast paced environment that supports production and maintenance level changes</li><li>Perform high level impact analysis and execute complex test approaches for production and maintenance level software changes</li><li>Involved in life cycle of Data Migration process starting from requirement gathering, data analysis, data mapping and reconciliation. </li><li>Work with Scrum teams to complete root because analysis and corrective action plans to ensure test coverage throughout the development, QA, and UAT life cycles</li><li>Provide continuous reviews and recommendations for improvement of processes related to Quality Assurance</li><li>Advise and assist the QA Manager on testing risks and resolutions as they relate to the Integration team’s efforts </li></ul>
What we need from you: <ul><li>A minimum of 5 years working as a professional in a software development environment</li><li>Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or relevant work experience</li><li>Knowledge of integration testing approaches and techniques between complex systems, both proprietary and third party</li><li>A minimum of 4 years of experience using API and UI Automation Frameworks such as Selenium, ReadyAPI, Postman and , Pytest, Playwrite</li><li>A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing projects</li><li>Working knowledge of sensitive data quality assurance including security related test cases, permission boundary testing, and report validation</li><li>Experience working in an Agile environment</li><li>Experience in investment processing is a plus</li><li>Experience in performance/load/volume test is a plus</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of SDLC lifecycle management tools such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail Demonstrated knowledge of databases and APIs</li><li>Proven experience and understanding of all phases of the development lifecycle including scoping, design, construction, integration and testing preferred </li></ul>
