<li>BA/BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or Game Development.</li>
<li>3+ years of Unity and/or Unreal Engine development experience.</li>
<li>3+ years of technical experience as a game developer.</li>
<li>Exceptional product intuition, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English.</li>
<li>Experience working with strategic partners and presenting to executives.</li>
<li>Passionate about learning and applying cutting edge AI research.</li>
<li>Understanding and experience with LLM prompt engineering.</li>
<li>Hacker mindset and ability to think outside the box.</li>
<li>Experience in programming AI, low-level networking, and audio is a big plus.</li>

As a Frontend Engineer II at Seismic, you'll build and optimize frontend solutions for AI applications (search, content discovery, etc.).  You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications. Key responsibilities include frontend development, UI development, integrating AI capabilities, performance tuning, collaboration with various teams, and staying updated on the latest frontend technologies.  The role requires strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React (or similar frameworks), TypeScript, and testing frameworks. Experience with AI integration or data science concepts is a plus.

Qualifications: <ul><li>Experience: 2+ years of experience in frontend development, with a proven track record of building and scaling web applications. </li><li>Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Experience with TypeScript and state management libraries like Redux is a plus. Solid experience in writing and executing automated tests using frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress. Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience implementing accessible designs. </li><li>AI and Data Science Basic Knowledge: Experience in integrating AI-driven features into frontend applications, or basic understanding of AI and data science concepts is a big plus. </li><li>Design Skills: Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools, with the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. </li><li>Cloud Expertise: Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or AWS.
