Student Internship - Founders Associate

As a Founders Associate Intern at Sloyd, you'll work directly with the founding team, gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced startup environment.  Responsibilities include market research, competitor analysis, supporting operations and internal processes (finance, admin, planning), preparing pitch decks and investor materials, participating in fundraising efforts, gathering user feedback, contributing to strategic projects, and improving email marketing.  The ideal candidate is a self-starter, strong communicator, and interested in tech, design, or 3D (though not required).

This is a high-impact, fast-paced role with lots of variety—perfect for someone who loves learning, solving problems, and making things happen.<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>You'll work closely with especially the CEO and assist in a wide range of tasks:<ul>
<li>Assist with market research, competitor analysis, and user insights</li>
</ul><ul>
<li>Support operations and internal processes (think: finance, admin, planning)</li>
</ul><ul>
<li>Help prepare pitch decks and investor materials</li>
</ul><ul>
<li>Be part of fundraising efforts and potential grant applications (like EU funding)</li>
</ul><ul>
<li>Engage with users and analytics&nbsp;to gather feedback and improve the product</li>
</ul><ul>
<li>Jump into strategic projects and help us move faster across the board</li>

<li>Set up and improve email marketing to improve conversions and retention</li>
</ul><h3>What We’re Looking For</h3><ul>
<li>Self-Starter:&nbsp;You’re proactive, organized, and hungry to learn.&nbsp; A driven individual who can manage tasks with minimal supervision </li>
<li>
You love startups and want to understand how they work from the inside </li>
<li>
Strong communicator in English (bonus if you speak other languages) </li>
<li>
Interested in tech, design, gaming, or 3D is a plus—but not required </li>
<li>
You’re not afraid to take ownership and try new things </li>
<li>
Research Skills: Ability to gather, synthesize, and present data to improve our product</li>
</ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul>
<li>Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Management, or a related field at BI Norwegian Business School.</li>
<li>Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken. CEO is however Norwegian, so most work will be in Norwegian, but the rest of the team is mostly international.</li>
<li>Experience: Previous experience in starting a business, website, or other side hustle&nbsp;is highly preferred.</li>
