 We're looking for a talented and passionate Data Engineer to join Wildlife's Cloud Economics team in São Paulo, Brazil.
The mission of the Cloud Economics team at Wildlife is to have world-class productivity and efficiency across the company by finding and further investigating efficiency opportunities related to the usage and/or provisioning of technology resources.&nbsp;
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for gathering all the information needed into the data lake; build and maintain such a lake permanently. You will also play a key role in developing the analyses and algorithms that identify the patterns and type of usage of our data that allow us to find opportunities to improve its usage and storage.

<h2>What you’ll do</h2>
<ul>
<li>Be part of a high-output team, directly contributing to company results;</li>
<li>Build the required date lakes and do the corresponding ETL in order to be able to consolidate and query information about multiple data sources;</li>
<li>Enhance our data discovery capabilities;</li>
<li>Identify unused data and propose how to handle it (sampling, deletion, move to colder classes of storage);</li>
<li>Find and propose data modeling optimizations across the data lake to avoid inefficiencies like duplicated data, data normalization, data types, etc. (table partitioning, migrating to delta tables);</li>
<li>Develop an internal cost allocation data lake for our most significant technology providers.</li>
</ul>
<h2>What you'll need</h2>
<ul>
<li>University degree in courses related to computing such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field;</li>
<li>Solid experience working as a data engineer on technically challenging problems;</li>
<li>Proficiency in programming with SQL and Python;</li>
<li>Experience creating data pipelines;</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience with AWS;</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience with Airflow or other workflow management tool is a differential.</li>

El candidato o candidata ideal será alguien que no deje nada al azar y se asegure de que nuestros productos brillen con los más altos estándares de calidad Responsabilidades Diseñar desarrollar y ejecutar planes de pruebas detallados y exhaustivos. Identificar registrar documentar y realizar un seguimiento de los errores hasta su resolución. Realizar pruebas funcionales de regresión integración y de rendimiento. Trabajar en estrecha colaboración con los equipos de desarrollo y producto para entender los requisitos y proporcionar feedback. Participar en la planificación y estimación de las actividades de testing. Contribuir a la mejora continua de los procesos de QA y metodologías de prueba. Requisitos Experiencia demostrable en el rol de QA en entornos de desarrollo de software. Conocimiento profundo de las metodologías de prueba y ciclos de vida de desarrollo de software. Habilidad para diseñar y ejecutar casos de prueba manuales. Atención al detalle y habilidades analíticas para identificar problemas potenciales antes de que surjan. Valorable Experiencia con herramientas de automatización de pruebas como Selenium Cypress entre otras. Conocimientos en scripting y lenguajes de programación (Javascript Python etc.) para la creación de pruebas automáticas. Experiencia trabajando con metodologías ágiles (Scrum). Certificaciones en QA o Testing que demuestren tu compromiso con la calidad. Ofrecemos Puesto indefinido. Horario flexible. Flexibilidad en la elección de vacaciones.
