Primary responsibilities of this role include: <ul><li>Provide Human Factors Consulting </li><li>Ability to demonstrate skills in project management practices to effectively plan, execute, and complete work on time </li><li>Ability to integrate work tasks for efficient completion of work </li><li>Familiarity with FDA Human Factors Regulatory Process/Requirements </li><li>62366, FDA Guidance on Human Factors, 60601, HE75 etc. </li><li>Comprehensive understanding of Mil Std 1472, NASA STD 3001 and SSP 50005 Requirements and Aerospace application </li><li>Conduct Focus Groups, Benchmark studies, Task Analyses and Data Analyses </li><li>Statistical analysis capabilities required </li><li>Define testing plans, use case scenarios, and user risk matrices to support usability testing, including Human in the Loop (HITL), Formative and Summative usability tests </li><li>Demonstrate understanding and capabilities regarding verification and validation activities </li><li>Define and communicate design requirements based on user data/insights </li><li>Capable of conducting data analysis and assessment pertaining to the Human System and testing efforts </li><li>Develop Instructions for Use, Procedures, and Training protocols with project teams </li><li>Develop project plans and communications for clients and C-suite personnel </li><li>Write Human Factors reports and assessments </li><li>Manage data and resources </li><li>Connect and articulate product and service offerings and effectively communicate with management and clients </li><li>Contribute and participate in writing company social media postings, including podcasts, blogs, and monthly topics </li><li>Connect with current clients and partners throughout their engagement with Sophic and ensure they receive an exceptional experience </li><li>Identify opportunities for expanding the scope of existing contracts </li><li>Effectively communicate with Sophic management and clients </li><li>Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings </li><li>Monitor customer accounts and needed actions </li><li>Ensure all records are kept up-to-date and are accurate </li><li>Maintain consistent communication regarding weekly plan/weekly status </li><li>Complete assigned training within the required timeframe </li></ul>
Job Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors Engineering required (or equivalent experience) with 3-7 years of experience as a practitioner of Human Factors or </li><li>Master’s degree in Human Factors Engineering required (or equivalent experience) with 1-5 years of experience as a practitioner of Human Factors </li><li>Experience with FDA Human Factors regulatory requirements. </li><li>Other government experience a plus </li><li>Certification as a CHFP, CPE or CUXP </li><li>Highly desired: Experience in Aerospace </li><li>Diverse industry experience base is a plus </li><li>US Citizenship or Green Card Equivalent </li></ul>
