Your main tasks will be:

We are currently seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead our quality assurance team and play a pivotal role in managing and developing automated tests for our flagship Kubernetes management platform. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Lead and manage a team of QA Engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.</li><li>Design and develop automated tests for our distributed platform's core capabilities and features, ensuring high quality and reliability.</li><li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive testing strategy and continuous improvement.</li><li>Create and maintain high-quality test cases for new features and enhancements, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.</li><li>Leverage your extensive experience to develop automation tests for both API and UI components.</li><li>Demonstrate proficiency in Linux-based operating systems and provide expertise in troubleshooting and debugging.</li><li>Utilize hands-on experience with cloud technologies, containers, and Kubernetes (K8s) to enhance testing processes.</li><li>Highly preferred: Lead the development of automation tests using the Robot Automation Framework or Golang Based Test Framework like Ginkgo/Go-dog.</li><li>Champion best practices and methodologies in testing to maintain high standards of quality.</li><li>Collaborate with management to set strategic goals for the automation team and track progress toward those goals. </li></ul>
Minimum Qualifications: <ul><li>8+ years of IT experience, showcasing your in-depth expertise in automation and quality assurance.</li><li>Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team of QA Engineers.</li><li>Extensive experience in developing automation tests for both API and UI (a must-have).</li><li>Proficiency in Linux-based operating systems (a must-have).</li><li>Strong ability to create and maintain high-quality test cases for new features.</li><li>Demonstrated hands-on experience with cloud technologies, containers, and Kubernetes (K8s) (a must-have).</li><li>Highly preferred: Proficiency in leading the development of automation tests using the Robot Automation Framework or Golang Based Test Framework like Ginkgo/Go-dog.</li><li>Strong understanding of testing methodologies, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.</li><li>Highly preferred: CKA or CKAD certification </li></ul>
Additional Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.</li><li>Proficiency in GoLang or Python programming.</li><li>Proven experience in setting and achieving strategic goals for automation teams. </li></ul>
