Technical Writer needed for Reinsurance Solutions. 4+ years of experience, 2+ years in technical writing for sophisticated documentation projects. Experience in Software Product technical documentation is a plus.  Must have knowledge of developing user guides, release notes, installation guides, and experience with topic-based writing.

 About The Team Reinsurance Solutions is one of the three pillars within Swiss Re Reinsurance. Service Delivery Management team is responsible for designing and managing processes for successful delivery and efficient operations of software products and services to customers. Effective Service Delivery Mgmt. enables companies to streamline their processes, optimize resource utilization and improve customer experiences. About The Role To maintain ground-breaking propositions for our product documentation and support the next wave of innovation in content strategy, we are looking for a technical writer with knowledge of information development and passionate about creating documentation to achieve the highest standards of content maturity. As a Technical writer, you will be creating content, peer reviewing and publishing documentation on our online portal. You will part of documentation squad while working closely with the Scrum master, Subject matter experts, Product Managers, and Product Owners to deliver effective information development and release specific updates. Your Main Responsibilities <ul><li>Conceptualize research, plan, analyze, and authors high quality technical documentation</li><li>Author topics using minimalism principles and conforming to corporate writing style guide</li><li>Analyze current product documentation to determine usability and make improvements as indicated</li><li>Learn and adapt quickly to new technologies, tools, and processes in a fast-paced agile environment</li><li>Improve content quality and usability by responding to and incorporating feedback from customers and internal users</li><li>Work effectively with cross functional teams to deliver the best solutions to our customer</li><li>Demonstrate a sense of ownership in work and deliverables </li></ul>
Required Skills And Qualifications <ul><li>Overall 4+ years of experience including at least 2+ years in technical writing for sophisticated documentation projects. Experience working in Software Product technical documentation is beneficial.</li><li>University degree in English, Technical Communication, Information Management, or related field in Engineering or Computer Science (or comparable education/equivalent experience)</li><li>Working knowledge of developing user guides, release notes, installation guides, etc. and topic-based writing is beneficial</li><li>Ability to obtain information through research, interviews, and experimentation</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.</li><li>Proficiency in international languages like Simplified Chinese or Japanese is a plus</li><li>Experience with persona-based writing, preferred</li><li>Advanced skills in using XML based authoring tools, DITA standard experience preferred</li><li>Capability to understand and speak software engineers' language and understand the wider context of their work</li><li>Personal demeanor encompassing proactivity, ownership and continuous improvement. </li></ul>
