The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for financial forecasting and reporting, including building a long-term financial model and conducting monthly financial reviews. This role involves collaborating with finance and business teams to streamline processes and identify efficiency opportunities. The ideal candidate should operate with autonomy, possess advanced financial modeling skills, and effectively communicate with business partners. Responsibilities include developing financial models, leading the annual budget, and preparing financial reports for senior management. The role also involves understanding key business drivers and participating in strategic initiatives.

The Role 
 
We're seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Finance Manager to join our Strategic finance team. This isn’t your typical number-crunching gig – you’ll be the financial storyteller who transforms data into insights that drive real business decisions.
 
In this role, you will be responsible for financial forecasting and reporting activities; such as building a sustainable long-term financial model, preparing and conducting monthly financial reviews with key stakeholders as well as performing ad-hoc analysis. You will also collaborate cross-functionally across Finance and business teams to streamline processes, identify efficiency opportunities, and strengthen our reporting and financial controls. An ideal candidate operates with significant autonomy and independence. This candidate will have advanced financial modeling skills and the ability to influence the decisions of business partners through effective verbal and written communication

 
<h3>What You'll Do </h3>
<ul class="posting-requirements plain-list"><ul><li>Financial Modeling &amp; Forecasting:&nbsp;</li><li>Develop, refine and maintain sophisticated financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and business case analysis</li><li>Lead the development and execution of the annual operating budget, long-range strategic plans, and regular financial forecasts (e.g., quarterly, monthly, rolling forecasts)</li><li>Collaborate with various departments to gather inputs, understand key drivers, and ensure alignment with business objectives</li><li>Design and implement planning frameworks and methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency</li></ul><div> </div><ul><li>Strategic Initiatives:</li><li>Understand the key drivers of the business (e.g. origination, repayment, conversion, unit economics/lifetime value of customer) and collaborate with global cross-functional teams as needed</li><li>Participate in cross-functional projects, offering financial insights and recommendations to achieve strategic goals.</li><li>Partner with senior leadership to evaluate business opportunities and capital allocation strategies</li></ul><div> </div><ul><li>Reporting &amp; Communication:&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare and present clear and concise financial reports and insights to senior management, facilitating effective communication and decision-making.</li><li>Monitor and report on key financial and operational metrics, providing insights to drive performance and accountability.</li></ul></ul>
<h3>What You'll Need </h3>
<ul class="posting-requirements plain-list"><ul><li>5+ years of experience in business finance, forecast &amp; budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience</li><li>Strong understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and GAAP principles.</li><li>Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., Pigment, Anaplan) and large ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).</li><li>Experience in managing multiple competing priorities effectively</li><li>Strategic thinking with demonstrated business judgement and quantitative skills</li><li>Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and business case development</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.</li><li>Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.</li></ul></ul>
