Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.Working within Creative Services CoE (GCO), Budapest Post Production hub, the Motion Graphics Editor is primarily responsible for motion graphics creation and GFX customisation for marketing campaign content across 20+ languages, covering MAX &amp; HBO Max streaming, all online and social communication platforms, Owned and Operated linear channels including HBO and Cinemax.&nbsp; This role requires advanced motion GFX and editing skills using Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects. Solid understanding and experience of broadcast and technical Post Production workflows is an essential requirement.The Motion Graphics Editor will support the Motion Graphics Supervisor in providing high levels of customer service to the various WBD streaming platforms, creative marketing and operational teams for versioning shortform promos and trailers. The GFX editor may also occasionally be required to work on simple compliance projects as well as working on complex GFX for original and language customization projects. This will also include Quality Assessment work.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Designing and creating graphics in After Effects for broadcast in multiple regions</li><li>Designing brand new 2D and 3D graphics sequences - including, but not limited to: titles, credits, captions, animated sequences, subtitles, maps - as well as recreating and matching&nbsp; any pre-existing design either from scratch or with the aid of pre-made graphics packages/templates.</li><li>Creating motion graphics templates and projects from scratch as well as using and adapting existing After Effects packages.</li><li>Ingest US toolkits to EMEA standards</li><li>Rework/recreate master toolkits in After Effects and set/design templates according to regional localization standards across EMEA (plugin set, font types, render engine etc.)</li><li>Keep After Effects template layer structure and settings in a fashion, that supports mastering works and the overall finalization process</li><li>Custom motion graphics creation and compositing over picture.</li><li>Editing content for broadcast, whether this is reversioning and customising pre-existing content or cutting from rushes.</li><li>Performing edits according to WBD tech specs, scripts, insert lists, edit instructions and style guides</li><li>Able to take and understand a creative brief and be able to creatively and technically feed into it and suggest the most appropriate and time-efficient way of approaching the work.</li><li>To be able to receive, absorb and action feedback on your work from various stakeholders and approach that feedback in a positive and collaborative manner.</li><li>Engaging with the Streaming Creative, Marketing Ops. and other teams to maintain the look and feel of the WBD brands and content.</li><li>Communicating queries or missing materials to Post Resources Supervisor, AV Versioning Lead and to other relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Liaising with the Content Operations and Network Operations (Net Ops) teams, as well as any other relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Reporting any technical problems to the Post Production Engineering team</li><li>Daily use of agreed communication channels within the team and within the wider organization</li><li>Engage in training junior team members.</li><li>Maintaining QC standards of newly created materials</li><li>The ability to thoroughly carry out metadata entry tasks is crucial</li><li>An impeccable attention to detail is a must</li><li>Responsibility for ensuring all operational procedures are followed</li><li>Supporting the Motion Graphics Supervisor, Post Resources Supervisor and AV Versioning Lead in day to day operating duties by feeding back any issues</li><li>Prioritizing and dealing with queries as quickly and efficiently as possible</li><li>Analyzing the current workflow and propose/report anything that can be improved</li><li>Ensuring that all aspects of regulatory compliance codes and Codes of Practice relating to the platforms and brands are observed</li><li>Ad hoc duties as required.</li></ul>Requirements: <ul><li>Ability to perform advanced graphics work using After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator</li><li>Ability to create motion graphic sequences from scratch and also utilize existing After Effects templates.</li><li>Strong design skills and a keen eye for detail.</li><li>Cinema 4D is a distinct advantage</li><li>Able to Offline and Online content for broadcast using Adobe Premiere and/or Avid Media Composer.</li><li>Some experience of Avid Media Composer is desirable</li><li>Ability to coordinate, prioritize and edit in a fast paced environment</li><li>Ability to work well under pressure</li><li>Ideally educated to degree level or recognized equivalent</li><li>Advanced knowledge of file-based workflows and broadcast technology</li><li>Good operational knowledge of editing within a broadcaster or agency environment</li><li>Excellent understanding of video, grading and audio theory</li><li>Clear, concise naming, filing and organizational skills for asset management</li><li>A pro-active team player with good communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Intermediate English language skills (verbal and written).</li><li>Additional language skills are beneficial.</li><li>Passionate about media content and media industry</li></ul>How We Get Things Done…This last bit is probably the most important! The role is of a hands-on Electrical/Electronic engineer who is motivated to actively contribute to the new design and update of existing products. The person will play key role in architecting the systems, be involved from idea to product launch/update and own the design aspects and address all technical challenges including regulatory certifications. Roles &amp; Responsibilities <ul><li>Perform reviews on design concepts, component selections, trade off analysis and resolve technical challenges</li><li>Work with cross function team to capture requirements, perform system / subsystem design, finalize electronics design requirement by reviewing with systems &amp; global engineering teams. Candidate Educational &amp; Professional Experience Requirement: <ul><li>Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering, or related field or equivalent.</li><li>12+ years of experience in hardware design and development in embedded system design with 8/16/32-bit microprocessor design </li></ul>
Proficiency Requirements Required: <ul><li>Should have demonstrated proficiency in working with system/software/Firmware/hardware/ Electrical requirements development and validation</li><li>Hands on experience in analog, digital and power supply design. Also, interfacing electro-mechanical and other peripherals in instrument design with sensors and control algorithm.</li><li>Strong knowledge in alternate design analysis/part substitute for cost out ideas and obsolescence management including design analysis for quality, reliability, power consumption, timing parameters etc.</li><li>Should have good knowledge on the compliance requirement &amp; should support product regulatory compliance testing including EMC/EMI, CCC, UL, RoHS. etc..</li><li>Proficient in debugging instruments (digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers);</li><li>Experience in practices for Design for Test (DFT), DFR and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) background.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and communication skills.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Software &amp; Firmware Engineering principle</li><li>Agility to multiple simultaneous projects, tasks &amp; programs to suit business needs </li></ul>
