You will design and implement sequencer-driven mission moments, polish camera paths, and tune in-game camera feedback. This role is deeply hands-on, blending cinematic composition, animation, and technical execution to deliver polished, immersive experiences across missions, gameplay transitions, and presentation layers.You will partner with design, animation, engineering, and art to ensure every camera moment feels intentional, readable, and emotionally resonant while preserving player agency.<h4 class="text-lg md:text-xl font-semibold mt-6 mb-2 text-gray-800">Responsibilities</h4><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Design and implement sequencer-driven mission moments in-engine.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Create and polish camera composition, animation paths, and transitions for menus, post-round moments, and vendor scenes.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Design in-game third-person camera moments (respawns, enemy interactions, contextual transitions) that enhance clarity and flow.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Implement and tune camera feedback, including screen shake and moment-to-moment camera response.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Collaborate cross-discipline to balance cinematic intent with gameplay constraints, performance, and usability.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Iterate quickly in Unreal Engine, owning camera-based cinematic experiences from concept through final polish.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Participate in studio playtests.</li></ul><h4 class="text-lg md:text-xl font-semibold mt-6 mb-2 text-gray-800">Requirements</h4><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Professional experience as a Gameplay Camera Designer on a collaborative, cross-discipline game development team.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Strong understanding of FPS gameplay concepts and techniques.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Demonstrated expertise in camera placement and shooting interactive scenes, with a strong foundation in cinematography.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Proven experience implementing in-game camera systems, including technical setup and scripting.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Strong working knowledge of Unreal Engine, including Sequencer and camera workflows.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Proficiency in at least one animation tool (Maya preferred); 3D Studio Max or similar a plus.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Strong animation sensibility paired with technical problem-solving ability.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Excellent communication skills and a high standard for craft and polish.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">A portfolio or video reel showcasing gameplay and cinematic camera work.</li></ul><h4 class="text-lg md:text-xl font-semibold mt-6 mb-2 text-gray-800">Preferences</h4><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Proficiency in at least one animation tool (Maya preferred); 3D Studio Max or similar a plus.</li></ul>We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
