6-Month Internship - Software Engineer

Virtuos Lyon seeks a 6-month intern Software Engineer to implement engine features, optimizations, and cutting-edge technologies for PC and consoles. Responsibilities include writing code meeting functional and technical requirements, developing and optimizing engine subsystems, delivering clean, documented code, writing technical and end-user documentation, working on various game engines, identifying and solving technical obstacles, and communicating progress.  The ideal candidate will possess strong C/C++ and 3D math skills, experience with real-time interactive application programming, and a knack for balancing performance and maintainability.  The role demands strong communication, a proactive attitude, and teamwork.
