Voldex seeks a skilled QA Tester with 2-3 years of experience to ensure high-quality gaming experiences for millions of players on Roblox. Must have strong attention to detail, bug reporting skills, and familiarity with the UGC game industry. Knowledge of Roblox Studio is a plus.

We are funded by some of gaming’s best investors including Dune Ventures, POW Interactive, Makers Fund, and a16z.What You Will Do<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Ensuring that our experiences are high quality, setting us apart from our competition</li><li>Create and execute comprehensive test plans ensuring everything is functioning correctly</li><li>Writing clear and concise bug reports and providing all relevant supporting information such as screenshots, videos, and game logs</li><li>Working with various departments to gain a full understanding of all systems and game mechanics used in QA environments</li><li>Communicating with other QA Team members during multiplayer tests to ensure nothing is missed</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Testing games and applications across various devices, quickly learning and retaining the knowledge of each</li><li>Finding, reproducing, and reporting issues in detailed bug reports</li><li>Examining and reproducing existing issues</li><li>Providing clear and concise critical analysis and feedback when requested</li><li>Learning about and adhering to our internal systems, software, and processes</li><li>Liaising with other team members to better our processes and create a more efficient workflow</li></ul>Requirements<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>2-3+ years of experience working as a QA tester / QA professional</li><li>An interest in and understanding of the video game industry, particularly UGC games such as Roblox</li><li>Good standard of written and spoken English</li><li>Excellent attention to detail</li><li>The ability to concisely present complex information via bug reports</li><li>Ability to become quickly accustomed to our processes and procedures</li><li>The ability to multitask, prioritize, and work to deadlines</li><li>The ability to remain focused when approaching repetitive tasks</li><li>Ability to work and communicate effectively with people at all levels</li><li>Ability to be flexible and adaptable during critical periods, extending and adjusting work schedule as necessary</li></ul>Bonus RequirementsPlease note that these are desirable skills and are not required to apply for the position.<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Extensive knowledge of the Roblox platform</li><li>Previous experience using Roblox Studio</li></ul>Additional Information<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Candidates must be 18 years of age or above</li><li>40 hours a week; some flexibility is required during critical periods</li><li>Remote working (Work from home); stable internet connection is required</li></ul>CompensationThe compensation offered is based on experience and location and will include salary and the possibility of equity after time with us.&nbsp; Voldex also provides paid time off.Voldex is an equal opportunity employer.
