Position Overview: Contract-to-Hire (3 Months)We are looking for a talented individual to join our team initially on a 3-month contract basis, with the potential for full-time employment based on performance and business needs. Qualifications <ul><li>3D Content Creation Expertise: Proficient in all aspects of 3D content creation, including hard surface/organic modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, cloth simulation, and rendering.</li><li>Photo-Realistic 3D Content: Skilled in creating photo-realistic content aligning with the art director's vision.</li><li>Rendering Pipeline Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-standard rendering pipelines and third-party solutions.</li><li>Mastery of Blender Software: Profound skills in using Blender for various 3D creation tasks.</li><li>Comprehensive 3D Skills: Extensive experience in 3D modeling, PBR Texturing, Lighting, Animation, and Rendering.</li><li>Professional Experience: At least 3+ years of professional experience as a 3D artist or in a similar role.</li><li>Technical Modeling Skills: Expertise in UV unwrapping, optimization, and maintaining clean topology.</li><li>Organic Modeling Expertise: Expert in organic modeling using sculpting and deformation tools</li><li>Portfolio Requirement: A portfolio showcasing photo-realistic content creation using Blender.</li><li>Creative and Technical Problem Solver: Ability to identify and solve issues creatively and technically.</li><li>Location Requirement: Ability to reliably commute to Midtown West, Manhattan (10001) daily.</li><li>Independent and Efficient: Capable of working independently and efficiently under reasonable deadlines.</li><li>Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li></ul>
 Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li>Project Collaboration: Work closely with the art director and other teams within and outside of the production department to realize project visions.</li><li>Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other artists, designers, and stakeholders.</li><li>Active Problem Solving: Actively seeking solutions to technical problems.</li><li>Creative Input: Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance the visual quality of projects. Come up with creative concepts based on client briefs and 3D capabilities.</li><li>Technical Problem Solving: Quality Assurance: Ensure all 3D assets meet the required quality and specifications, communicate with freelance 3D artists and maintain accurate information flow.</li><li>Deadline Adherence: Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.</li><li>Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in 3D art and Blender software.</li><li>3D Modeling and Texturing: Create high-quality 3D models and textures for various projects.</li><li>Animation and Simulation: Develop animations and simulations, including but not limited to soft and rigid body and environmental effects.</li><li>Lighting and Rendering: Implement advanced lighting techniques and produce photo-realistic renders.</li><li>Digital Asset Creation: Create VFX digital assets as needed for video projects.</li><li>Full Edits and Sound for VFX/3D Videos: Take over full edits and sound for VFX/3D videos that majorly center around VFX/3D content.</li><li>Rotoscoping and Compositing: Rotoscope and composite layers to create seamless integration for 3D and digitally created assets with live-action shots.</li><li>VFX/3D Solutions: Identify technical challenges in the 3D/VFX content creation process. Develop solutions within the VFX and 3D space for any issues encountered in video production, whether planned or unplanned.</li><li>Visual Effects Supervision: Oversee and guide the VFX process from pre-production to final delivery to ensure the creative vision is maintained.</li><li>Simulation Effects: Develop and implement complex simulation effects such as fluid dynamics, particle systems, and destruction sequences.</li><li>Shader Development: Create custom shaders and materials to achieve specific visual effects and enhance the realism of the project.</li></ul>
