This unpaid internship in New York City requires on-site work at VX Media's Midtown office. Responsibilities include developing and scheduling engaging content for Instagram, designing graphics using Canva and other tools, writing compelling captions, editing content, assisting in content strategy development, collaborating with the PR team and Creative Strategist(s), interacting with followers, tracking analytics, identifying trends, researching influencers and partners, and performing ad-hoc tasks.  Candidates must be eligible to receive school credit and possess exceptional communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.  Proficiency in Google Suite, CapCut, Canva, and other design software is essential, as is an understanding of the fashion industry.

**Responsibilities**

<li>Develop and Schedule Content: Create engaging posts tailored to the VX Media’s voice and target audience for both Instagram pages.</li>
<li>Design Graphics and Visuals: Use tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design software to create eye-catching graphics, images, and videos. Ensure the visuals align with our aesthetic and guidelines.</li>
<li>Write Captions and Copy: Craft compelling and engaging captions that complement visuals and encouragement engagement.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Edit and Proofread Content: Review content for accuracy, clarity before publishing.</li>
<li>Strategy and Planning: Assist in developing and refining the content strategy for both platforms based on industry trends and performance date. Contribute content ideas.</li>
<li>Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with our PR Team and Creative Strategist(s) to ensure cohesion and execution of content posting.</li>
<li>Engagement: Interact with followers, respond to comments, and engage in conversations to foster a sense of community.</li>
<li>Analytics Tracking: Monitor social media metrics to assess post performance, gather insights, and make data-driven improvements.</li>
<li>Trend Identification: Keep an eye on current trends, hashtags, and relevant topics to incorporate into social media strategy.</li>
<li>Research: Conduct research to identify potential influencers, partners, or opportunities for collaboration, as well as research into fashion industry specific knowledge.</li>
