	Partner Program Event Producer – Hybrid (6-Month Contract) Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re currently seeking a Partner Program Event Producer to join the Partner Programs team for an exciting 6-month contract opportunity based in Houston, TX. This hybrid role will require candidates to be local to Houston or willing to travel to Houston for the event in March for a 10-day on-site commitment.
As the Partner Program Event Producer, you will take the lead in planning, managing, and executing private events for company partners. <h3>Responsibilities:</h3>

<li>Serve as the primary liaison with event chairs and commercial leads, ensuring the timely development of compelling event agendas.
</li><li>Manage logistics for all stages of the event, including pre-event, on-site, and post-event activities, ensuring a smooth execution and exceptional partner experience.
</li><li>Create high-impact events that deliver strong ROI for partners, ensuring their engagement and satisfaction.
</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with programming, operations, and commercial teams to align on event goals and messaging.
</li><li>Communicate regularly with leadership to provide event status updates, proactively identifying potential risks and solutions.
</li><li>Stay informed on partner strategies and organizational changes to tailor event content and participation accordingly.
</li><li>Work closely with the partnership sales team to maximize the commercial impact of private partner programs.
</li><li>Develop a deep understanding of partner personas and key companies to ensure relevant and tailored event experiences.
</li><li>Ensure consistency in messaging, processes, and event delivery across all partner events.

</li><li>Must be local to Houston or willing to travel to Houston for the 10-day event in March.

 Please note that this is an ML Engineering role, not a Scientist role. The focus for the position will be on ML pipeline development, deployment, and management.  We Are a Match Because You Have: <ul><li>6+ years experience as a ML Engineer with strong engineering skills and a passion for working on turning reference implementations into production-ready software.</li><li>Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (Python, Java, Scala or equivalent) used both for ML and automation tasks.</li><li>Experience with Python ML ecosystem (numpy, pandas, sklearn, XGBoost, etc.) and Apache Spark Ecosystem (Spark SQL, MLlib/Spark ML)</li><li>Hands-on experience building scalable ML &amp; big data processing pipelines with big data tools such as Hadoop, Hive, SQL, Spark and GCP cloud services such as DataProc, BigQuery, GCS etc.</li><li>Experience with automated data pipeline and workflow management tools, i.e. Airflow.</li><li>Experience with basic software engineering tools, e.g., git, CI/CD environment (such as Jenkins or Buildkite), PyPi, Docker, Kubernetes, unit testing, and general object-oriented design.</li></ul>
 It’s Great if You Have: <ul><li>Masters or Bachelors in Computer Science / Operations Research / Statistics or other quantitative fields</li><li>Experience with common ML frameworks/libraries such as Vowel wabbit, Tensorflow, PyTorch is preferred.</li><li>Experience with Kubernetes and micro-services is preferred.</li><li>Experience with Cloud Services such as GCP AI Platform.</li><li>Deploying and scaling ML solutions using open-source frameworks (MLFlow, TFX, H2O, etc.)</li></ul>
