 We're looking for a talented and passionate Data Engineer to join Wildlife's Cloud Economics team in São Paulo, Brazil.
The mission of the Cloud Economics team at Wildlife is to have world-class productivity and efficiency across the company by finding and further investigating efficiency opportunities related to the usage and/or provisioning of technology resources.&nbsp;
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for gathering all the information needed into the data lake; build and maintain such a lake permanently. You will also play a key role in developing the analyses and algorithms that identify the patterns and type of usage of our data that allow us to find opportunities to improve its usage and storage.

<h2>What you’ll do</h2>
<ul>
<li>Be part of a high-output team, directly contributing to company results;</li>
<li>Build the required date lakes and do the corresponding ETL in order to be able to consolidate and query information about multiple data sources;</li>
<li>Enhance our data discovery capabilities;</li>
<li>Identify unused data and propose how to handle it (sampling, deletion, move to colder classes of storage);</li>
<li>Find and propose data modeling optimizations across the data lake to avoid inefficiencies like duplicated data, data normalization, data types, etc. (table partitioning, migrating to delta tables);</li>
<li>Develop an internal cost allocation data lake for our most significant technology providers.</li>
</ul>
<h2>What you'll need</h2>

<li>University degree in courses related to computing such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field;</li>
<li>Solid experience working as a data engineer on technically challenging problems;</li>
<li>Proficiency in programming with SQL and Python;</li>
<li>Experience creating data pipelines;</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience with AWS;</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience with Airflow or other workflow management tool is a differential.</li>

 We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our Store Systems team. This role is primarily focused on software engineering, encompassing both design and implementation. Additionally, you will be part of a small team responsible for specifying, building, and maintaining software &amp; firmware that runs on embedded systems within our ecosystem. As an integral team member, you will drive embedded software design and optimization efforts. The ideal candidate for this position should be based in Bengaluru, India. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Design and implement drivers and services that operate efficiently in constrained environments, capable of delivering large volumes of data with low-latency and high-bandwidth when required.</li><li>Define and manage work streams focused on hardware bring-up, peripheral drivers and communication, silicon integration, and power and performance management and optimization.</li><li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.</li></ul>
 Requirements: <ul><li>5+ years of Software Engineering experience in device driver development, embedded systems, or operating systems.</li><li>Excellent programming skills on embedded devices in C/C++, Python</li><li>Excellent Linux administration skills including filesystems, services, automation, etc.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, I2C, RS485, MDB, TCP/IP.</li><li>DSP and custom IC programming experience is highly desirable.</li><li>Hands-on experience in hardware bring-up using interfaces like ADC, GPIO, SPI, I2C, etc.</li><li>Familiarity with Software Development processes including source control, bug tracking, and design documentation.</li><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.</li><li>Knowledge of higher level systems design components such as Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Messaging Protocols, Databases, etc are a bonus.</li></ul>
