Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Execute thorough testing of gaming software to identify and document defects, ensuring high-quality gaming experiences.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various gaming platforms.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to reproduce and prioritize reported issues, participating in root cause analysis.
- Perform regression testing to validate bug fixes and verify new feature implementations.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and test documentation to enhance overall product quality.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in software testing, preferably in the gaming industry.
- Strong attention to detail, systematic problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering flawless gaming experiences.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems and testing tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional development teams.
- A deep interest in gaming and an understanding of gaming platforms and user experiences is a plus.
