Job Description

The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for preparing and executing monthly journal entries, analyzing general ledger accounts, and coordinating intercompany processes. Key duties include supporting financial statement audits, managing multi-currency balance sheet reconciliations, and handling daily cash and bank reconciliations. The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, 3+ years of experience, strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills, and proficiency in taxes, internal control, Oracle, and Microsoft Office.

Must Have:
  • Prepare and execute monthly journal entries accurately.
  • Prepare finance corporate reports (House order, Itr, variations).
  • Analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy and improvement.
  • Coordinate intercompany processes and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in financial statement audit preparation.
  • Manage multi-currency balance sheet reconciliation for international entities.
  • Knowledge of tax liquidation, presentation of monthly taxes (VAT, WHT), and tax reconciliation.
  • Manage daily cash reconciliations, bank reconciliation, and cash flow.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounting.
  • High analytical and reporting skills.
  • High knowledge in taxes and internal control.
  • High communication skills.
  • Fluent oral and written English.
  • Familiarity with Oracle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google tools.

Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control.

Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.

Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.

Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.

Responsible for all areas of Finance for a company (CFO), location, division or business unit.

Provides support on all/most functions within the Finance function.

Job Description

Responsibilites

  • Monthly Journal Entries: Expertly prepare and execute monthly journal entries with a keen eye for accuracy.
  • Prepare finance corporate report ( House orde, Itr, variations)
  • General Ledger Analysis: Drill down into general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Intercompany Coordination: Skillfully coordinate processes across companies, resolving discrepancies between locations to achieve smooth operations.
  • Financial Statement Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of schedules and analysis for the financial statement audit.
  • Balance sheet Multi-Currency Reconciliation: Manage the reconciliation of intercompany transactions involving multiple currencies for international entities.
  • Tax knowledge ( Liquidation and presentation of monthly taxes, (VAT, ) WHT. Tax reconciliation)
  • Manage daily cash reconciliations, bank reconciliation and cash flow

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor is required. Major in Accounting
  • Experience 3+ years working in Accounting area
  • “Big 4” experience preferred
  • Oracle experience preferred
  • International background preferred
  • US GAAP Knowledge recommend
  • High analytic and reporting skills
  • High knowledge in taxes and internal control
  • High communication skill
  • Fluent oral and written English
  • Familiar with oracle
  • Good at Microsoft office, especially at Excel and PPT, Google tools

This is a hybrid position. The candidate must reside in Mexico City and be willing to commute to the office 2-3 times a week.
