Accounts Receivable Accountant (gn)

As an Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will be responsible for approving invoicing runs, maintaining accounts receivable, clarifying open items, and coordinating dunning processes. You will also handle booking bank statements and creating credit notes and recalculations. Your role includes supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for domestic and international subsidiaries. You will contribute your expertise to a dedicated Finance team and help shape the growth of a successful company.

Must Have

• Approve invoicing runs and maintain accounts receivable
• Clarify open items and coordinate dunning processes
• Book bank statements, create credit notes and recalculations
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Commercial training or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in accounting
• Strong understanding of commercial processes
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Fluent German and good English skills

Location: Leipzig & Heilbronn | Scope: Full-time and Part-time (30-40h/week) | Permanent

• You are responsible for approving invoicing runs and the ongoing maintenance of accounts receivable.
• You clarify associated open items and coordinate the dunning process.
• Booking bank statements and creating credit notes and recalculations are in your hands.
• You support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for our domestic and international subsidiaries.

What we need to see from you

Knowledge and Skills

• You have successfully completed commercial training or a comparable qualification.
• (Initial) professional experience in accounting and a strong understanding of commercial processes characterize you.
• You are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ideally, you bring initial experience in process optimization, handling larger data volumes, and a fundamental affinity for modern technologies (e.g., AI-powered tools).
• You are a team player with a process-oriented and structured way of working.
• Fluent German and good English skills complete your profile.
