Job Summary
Lionsgate is seeking an Assistant to support two EVPs of Television Business Affairs. This role offers an excellent learning experience for individuals interested in the business side of television. Responsibilities include comprehensive administrative support, managing expenses, scheduling meetings, coordinating calls, greeting guests, preparing status reports, drafting correspondence, maintaining legal files, assisting with department operations, processing deal negotiation requests, and initiating payments. Depending on skills, the assistant may also gain experience in drafting and commenting on agreements.
Must Have
- Efficiently support busy executives responsible for negotiating deals for scripted television
- Handle all administrative responsibilities for executives (expense reporting, scheduling, coordinating conference calls, greeting guests)
- Create and maintain status reports and draft high volume of correspondence
- Maintain department legal files and assist in the day-to-day operations of the department
- Enter deal negotiation requests into the database and assign to the applicable executive
- Initiate payments with accounting for development projects
- 1 Year of related experience, working in film or television
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment while handling competing priorities
- Strong Interest in the Business side of Television
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Adobe suite
Good to Have
- A college degree with an emphasis in Business preferred

Responsibilities

$43,000 - $45,000
