Must Have
- Minimum 2.5 years' experience in IT audit with a professional services firm.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, info systems, accounting, or finance.
- Experience testing internal controls and delivering IT components of assurance engagements.
- Ability to support teams on IT controls engagements, including systems implementations and ITGCs.
- Familiarity with assurance standards like SOC 1, SOC2, ISAE 3402 / SSAE 16.
- Experience using data analytics tools such as Alteryx and SQL.
- Ability to use alternative delivery models for client delivery.

We cover a wide range of disciplines, including audit risk evaluation, operational and strategic Information Technology processes, system implementation, data integrity, and cyber security to digitise audits.
About the role
As a Senior Associate in our Auckland office, you will help clients solve problems and create value through data analytics in our audits. There’s ample opportunity to work with prestigious clients and develop the business and technical skills, knowledge and relationships needed to accelerate your career development. You will play a key role in shaping the capability, growth, and culture of this team of problem solvers, helping our clients solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. This is a full-time opportunity, with a minimum of 37.5 working hours per week.
Your day-to-day could include:
- Delivering crucial business insights to clients through data analytics and data visualisation
- Helping businesses make sense of complex data sets
- Collaborating with clients to enable them to understand the value in their data
- Collaborating with a diverse team to develop innovative solutions and overcome challenges
- Supervising junior team members, training and coaching others
Skills you will bring or develop in this role
- Minimum of 2.5 years' experience in an IT audit role with a professional services firm.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, info systems, accounting or finance.
- Experience supporting / working alongside team members to test internal controls, plan and deliver the IT component of complex assurance engagements and review and direct controls testing plans.
- Proven ability to support team members on engagements centered around IT controls including capability to oversee systems implementations, IT systems controls testing (e.g. automated controls, calculations, reports) and IT General Controls (ITGCs).
- Familiar with assurance standards such as SOC 1, SOC2 and other attestation type engagements (ISAE 3402 / SSAE 16).
- Experience in using data analytics tools Alteryx, SQL to deliver insights to clients.
- Ability making effective use of alternative delivery models (i.e. shared service /remote working models) to ensure seamless client delivery
