Position: Backend Engineer with Databricks
Location: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad
Job Type: Full-time
Mode: Onsite (5 Days working from the office)

Role Overview:
As a Backend Engineer with Databricks, you will be instrumental in developing and optimizing our data infrastructure, ensuring robust and scalable ETL/ELT processes, and working with advanced tools like Databricks. You will take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining our ETL/ELT pipelines and Datamart solutions. Your role will involve working with large datasets, integrating disparate data sources, and utilizing best practices for data engineering. You will also engage in data visualization, and change management, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in data infrastructure, with a strong background in ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and Datamart development.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL Server, SSIS, and Databricks (preferred).
- Expertise in T-SQL and experience with large datasets and disparate data sources.
- Working knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools.
- Experience with Python and Spark is a plus.
- Familiarity with OLTP data sources such as MS Dynamics AX & CRM.
- Experience with Change Management Systems and JIRA.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
