Key Responsibilities

Lead the timely submission of proposals by coordinating the entire bidding process and maintaining organized documentation
Propose and implement more efficient bidding processes to streamline operations and improve outcomes
Take the lead in developing and implementing a seamless prelim bidding process, leveraging your experience to ensure smoother transitions and faster proposal submissions
Clearly articulate project scopes and break down tasks into specific disciplines required for completion.
Provide highly accurate bid numbers and financial estimates
Lead the collaboration with producers, production managers, and creatives to develop and implement cohesive bidding strategies
Gather and clarify necessary information from creative teams for accurate bid submissions
Schedule and facilitate bid-related meetings and discussions to keep all stakeholders informed
Serve as the primary contact for all bid-related inquiries, ensuring clear and effective communication
Track the availability and capacity of VFX partners to ensure optimal project staffing
Assist in identifying and onboarding external resources as needed
Maintain and update databases related to bids and resources, and generate detailed reports on bid outcomes and resource utilization

Qualifications

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience within a VFX studio or production house
Experience in vendor management is a plus
Strong knowledge of MS Office (including Word and Excel) and ShotGrid
Excellent project management and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong understanding of resource management principles
Familiarity with bidding processes and current industry trends
