Job Summary

Kforce is seeking a detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst in Knoxville, TN, to support the Workday Payroll workstream. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders and partners for successful deployment and optimization of Workday Payroll. Key responsibilities include serving as a subject matter expert, gathering requirements, configuring solutions, validating processes, supporting data conversion and testing, designing workflows, troubleshooting issues, providing training, and participating in system upgrades and reporting.

Must Have

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the Workday Payroll module
  • Collaborate with implementation partners and internal teams
  • Gather requirements, configure solutions, and validate payroll processes
  • Support data conversion, testing, and validation activities related to payroll
  • Assist in designing and documenting business processes, workflows, and integrations related to payroll
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Provide training and support to end-users and HR/payroll teams
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance of Workday Payroll
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support payroll operations and compliance
  • 3+ years of experience working with Workday, including at least 1 full-cycle Workday implementation
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll configuration, testing, and support
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and reporting requirements
  • Experience with data conversion, integration testing, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Good to Have

  • Workday certification in Payroll or related modules
  • Experience with other Workday modules such as HCM, Time Tracking, or Absence Management
  • Familiarity with Workday Studio or EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder)
  • Experience working in a large enterprise or global implementation environment

Requirements
